nick, please talk to us. why aernt you making the newest betas available for registered users to download? The link has been dead for quite a while now. I have emailed you about it and several people have compalined about it last week on this board. you have posted to this board since then but you still have not fixed the problem. why?
I have defended you to a friend that thinks you are lying about the progress of pba. that friend has switched to boycott advance and thinks your company should be named "squirrelly software". i just wanted to give you a chance to give us an explanation before jumping to any conclusions. Thank you.

I'm beginning to think this is all a hoax. Good by for now, I will check PBA out in a couple months to see if there is any progress. Dudes, stop wasting time on this. If there is no update, there is no update. PBA hasn't even worked on my computer once. I'm not hoping much.
PBA == hoax ?
PBA has never and will probably never run on 68k...
PBA does currently only run on PowerPC afaik. and MacOS 8/9 (I donno if it runs as a carbon application now days, I think not though.) anyway if you've got a problem getting it to run it's far better help if you try to explain the problem, ie. what's not functional instead of saying "PBA never worked on my computer in the first place", and if you have any programming experience it's also a good call to install macsbug, and whenever pba crashes or missbehaves do a heap check etc. alternatly if it crash into macsbug with a unmapped memory exception or similar backtrace until the calling routine.
(backtrace by unwinding the stack and set the pc - this is for used macsbug users only... it's a pretty slow process)
(Nick, if PBA causes exceptions it could be a good idea to install a custom exception handler to either recover and quit gracefully alternatly to try to figure what's causing the problem, I'm currently working on a small debugging shell, similar to the unix cmdline so that one can communicate to the application at runtime and perform diagnosis and (set/view variables ) while it's running)

Why bother? VisualBoyAdvance 0.4 plays every ROM (minus some demos) i've run with 100% accurate graphics, 100% accurate gameplay, and 90% accurate sound. And you don't have to send a postcard. :-)
