the general idea...
ok so when we say "girls night out" it means without the kids. don't think of this as a 'meet' or whatever, just a night (or day!) that us girls and a few of our friends could go out to a trendy bar, or to a club, or to the movies, or for lunch or whatever.
but basically it means: no kids allowed! we all need time away, we all WANT it... so why not embrace that and do something about it!?
obviously since xmas and now new years tomorrow night pretty much everyone is FLAT BROKE... so we'll have to wait a month or so before the first night out is planned. do u all agree?
anyway over the next few weeks if anyone has any suggestions, pls post em and we can start organising a date, as of course we need to know in advance to arrange babysitting, etc......... bleh
hope we'll all have many fun nights out together guys!

Re: the general idea...
Sounds great Bonny
My only suggestions are making sure its somewhere affordable seeing as some of us will have babysitting costs aswell as taxi fares home.
And also some of us dont have ID yet (I just need to get my photos signed to get my 18+ card and yes I'll get my butt in gear Im slack I know )
Idea's for the first one - Cheers Bar Vic Park. Its kinda central and accessible via Public Transport (you can catch any bus to or from the city up/down Albany Hwy). We can go and play pool and have a few drinks. The pool hall you can BYO for those w/out ID Its a clean place with jukebox music. The actual pub attatched is very nice, has a few big comfy lounges. I used to go there at frequently to play pool with friends before I went back to school.
