the feel good diet
Step 1. - Detoxing

Throw away every seasoning in your house, all your bread, regular milk and cooking oils too. Get rid of all cheese except white cheese. Throw out soda's candy and snacks as well as any other junk. Hell just throw it ALL out.

Step 2. - A New Start


You will need to invest in the following:

1 George Foreman ( Or Generic) Grill. This will be your best friend. I can not say enough positive things about this grill, it absolutely makes the food taste awesome AND drains the fat from your meats. I bought the one with the removable hotplates for easy cleaning.

1 32 Oz squeeze bottle. Preferably one with oz-markers on the side and most importantly, one with a straw. Water is always easier to drink in large amounts with a straw.

a variety ( any flavor you want) of Mrs Dash seasonings.

1 container of Mortins Light Salt ( Light Blue bottle)

1 can of Pam non-stick low sodium cooking spray.




Go to the grocery store and buy the following: (weekly)


(The following are examples of allowed meats.)

Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast.

Low-Fat Ground Turkey ( For Turkey Burgers mmm)

Lean Steak

Lean Burger.

1 Loaf of D'Italiano Light Bread OR 1 Loaf of Wonder Light Bread ( MUST say 40 calories a slice)

1 pk of American, Swiss or any other "white" cheese.

ANY Kraft Fat-Free dressings

1 Dozen Eggs

1 Small Tub of Promise Ultra Light Margerine

1 Medium Sized Tub of Low-Fat Cottage Cheese (optional)

Oranges, Grapes and Lemons.

1 box of low-fat oatmeal ( non-flavored)

1 box of Equal sweatener or the pink stuff ( always used equal)

Pick and choose from the following: ( BUT ALL MUST BE FRESH OR FROZEN - NO CANNED VEGGIES)

Lettuce
Mushrooms
Celery
Brocoli
Asparagus
Green Beans
Cucumbers
Spinach
Radishes
Califlaur(SP?)



Step 3 - Sticking to the Da


IMPORTANT:
-DO NOT exceed use of more than 1tsp of promise light a day or 1 tsp of salad dressing. ( You get 1 tsp of each to work with)
- DO make absolutely sure you get 1/2 tsp of Mortins Light Salt every single day ( keeps your potasium level up so you dont get low and Bananas arent allowed on this diet)
- You will notice that 1 whole orange is consumed daily on this plan. That is because it helps you burn the fat.
- Stop all food 2 hours before your bedtime.


Breakfast -

1 Bowl Lowfat Oatmeal ( Sweetened with Equal or Pink Stuff) (You can substitute the oatmeal for 6oz of Kellogs Special K if you want, tho it may slow the process.)
1/2 Orange
1 Slice of 40 Calorie Toast ( Dry)
1 Egg ( I always scrambled it with skim milk+MrsDash Garlic and Herb seasoning)


Snack#1

Choose from the following:

1 sugar-free granola bar
10 medium sized grapes
1/2 cup of low-fat yogart ( This choice is only allowed 3 times a week)



Lunch

5 oz of desired meat from above choices

Cook it as instructed on your counter-top grill. Use ONLY Mrs Dash seasonings ( Or in the case of chicken, squeeze a lemon or half of an orange over it as it grills, it works wonders!)

2 cups of raw veggies ( your choices are above) or 1 cup of cooked. ( its ok to do 1/2 and 1/2 )

1/2 orange

You can feel free to mix up the meat/veggies into a salad, but do not use more than 1 tsp of dressing per day. Make sure the dressing is Fat-Free (Kraft is also low sodium)


Snack#2

Choose from the following:

1 sugar-free granola bar

1/2 cup of low-fat yogart ( This choice is only allowed 3 times a week)



Dinner


5 oz of desired meat from above choices

Cook it as instructed on your counter-top grill. Use ONLY Mrs Dash seasonings ( Or in the case of chicken, squeeze a lemon or half of an orange over it as it grills, it works wonders!)

2 cups of raw veggies ( your choices are above) or 1 cup of cooked. ( its ok to do 1/2 and 1/2 )

1 slice of 40 calorie toast ( dry if you've used your 1 tsp of butter for the day)



Note: You -must- eat all of this food. It kicks your metabolism into high drive and you will feel awesome all day long!


Step 5 - VITAMIN, Water and Excersize

-Be sure you take your VITAMIN every day!
This will boost your energy immensely.



-You MUST Consume 80 fluid ounces of water a day, but NEVER exceed more than 96. The average human kidney can not process more than 96 oz of fluid in 24 hours.
Water is a very important part of any good diet. It is all the human body needs to hydrate and hydration is extremely important to cleaning toxins out of your system.
It effects your kidneys, your over-all body function and your complection.

I found the easiest way to get all of my ounces in was to take my 32oz water bottle with me everywhere. I filled it up 3x a day and sipped on it all day long( the kind with the straw). It didn't take long for it to become a habbit.

WIth this program no excersize is required at all, but I promise you this: If you follow this program to the letter, you will have so much energy to burn that you wont be able to fight the urge to take walks or work out.
