snapped cracked and poped
hi there guys and galz ,
just finished my adventures across this great land of ours only to nearly die at the thought the my jeep will not make it , i survived vapour locks on fuel whilst driving in 49 degree heat oil that did not hold up to challange of driving in that heat either thank god teh guy at the auto shop suggested that add an additive to the oil to ensure a safe a trip ( thank god he did) but due to the excessive weight that i carried on the back of the poor jeep had her belly running close to the ground, ouch !! yes we did feel every bump !! but the grunch came when we hit road works and wih an all mighty thump we bottomed out hard and with an almighty snap crackle and pop!! the crown and pinion thingy ( where the tail s haft and differrential come together .. ) after spending a few minutes removing that tailshaft and checking the front one too now , we carried on now with on one useable diffeerential no rear suspension and what can i say no bump stops any more now !! ouch !! we made it alive and well and poor little jeep heads off to the local dearlership to get some codes ripped out the little hard working puter and the off to get suspenion and a diff repaired before we head off on more happy adventure again !!!
