"I wanted to make more of a gesture towards acceptance. The stories in the book were a start, but I felt there was more to be done." say english version translator, Edna Botteri. "When I got to read the entries I was amazed at the wonderful little dramas that unfolded. So close to what we (humans), common or royal, have played out all thourgh our own time in the universe." she continues. The amount to be donated is around 2 million dollars. Edna hopes that more will come.
