"Millionaire" may be in trouble!
According to various sources on the internet, WCBS in New York, who currently carries the syndicated "Who Wants to be a Millioniare" starring Meredith Vieira is rumored to be replacing the show with "The People's Court" next season. New York is the largest market in the United States and could be problematic for the show seeing a second season.
While WCBS may be dropping the show, the ratings have been climbing since the show began in September, now sitting at average 3.4, so there is still a fairly good chance that the show will be renewed next season, especially if another station picks up "Millionaire" or WCBS finds another timeslot for it.
I like "Millionaire". I hope they find a way to make it stay...

It COULD be in trouble, but not necessarily is. I've heard that the show's ratings are on the rise in other markets, so if a new station or time picks up "Millionaire", there should be no problem with it getting renewed next season.
