according to the 50th anniversary spoilers Katie and nick start to have feelings for each other, simon was always going off on adventures did she ever do this??? no just very interesting info

I read that too. I stopped watching so long along and don't usually read spoilers but was wondering about what they were doing for the 50th
I have to say i love reading that it onlly took a few weeks for Katie to develop feelings for Mike's cousin! Has Mike ever been enough?I don't think so, for the first 1 1/2 of the pairing Simon was so much a part of the relationship only after thinking he was dead did she move on and then he came back and she picked him. Yeah they totally destroyed Skatie in June 04 but we know why. At least up until then we knew how devoted they were to each other.
But Matie how devoted can you be when it only takes a few weeks to feel something for someone else when your "soulmate is only out of our mind and out our bed for such a short time?

ITA but I'm for anything that makes Katie realize that life with Mike will never make her happy. Maybe spending time with Nick will remind her how much she use to enjoy going on adventures & solving mysteries with Simon.

Mike will never be enough for Katie. Frankly I don't think any man with the exception of Simon will ever be enough for Katie because Simon is the only man for Katie.
I totally agree with you Alexa1234. I too am for anything that will make Katie realize that she will never be truly happy or complete with Mike. I wouldn't mind a very short-term affair between Katie and Nick but I wouldn't want it to be long-term because Nick isn't the right man for Kaite either but at this point anything is better than Mike, until her true love and soulmate Simon comes back for good and I am sure Simon (Paul Leyden) will be back sooner or later, but I would prefer sooner.

I don't want Katie & Nick together long term either.... just long enough to make Katie realize that being with Mike was a safe choice but what really made her happy was the life she had with Simon. Edited by: Alexa1234 at: 3/4/06 1:22 pm
