OOC: >_< doh plain Tau can't take on a space marine in c/c. All he can do is STAB THE MARINE IN TEH FACE!!! If his helmet is off.
Kauyon ran silently through the hallway trying to get to the city where he could hide in a safer place. He then heard the static in his ear. "Hello...hello...can you hear me?" He wispered into his com. He then heard the heavy footsteps of a space marine. "Great." He grumbled and continued to run.
In the city
Senta sighed "the cannoness was right...i am chasing dreams not visions..." she looked up at the stain glass window "but if she had believed that...why would she have let me go...is this a test?" The stained glass emperor looked back at her, his eyes piercing her thoughts all the way from his golden throne.
the sister of battle stood up, saluting the priest, promising to return soon, and then stepping out into the city. She walked towards the dock, carrying her bolter in one hand. She was worried, she was soon to test out to become a seriphim, perhaps this sort of test was something every young sister went through. She stopped, looking up as something left the dock. The word something that came to her mind because it wasn't familiar, then she saw the Space Marine following it.
She took a few steps and looked down the street, her thoughts muddled "emperor...is this your sign?" her eyes focused on a plate glass window, the image of the tau running across the alley across the street appearing for a split second.
"thank you my emperor"
the sister took off running, her power suit wasn't the same as a marine's but it still pushed her beyone human limits. The woman's boots clapped against the street as her red cloak flapped behind her. She was racing to get ahead of the Tau, to pin him between her and the marine. If she could time this right, she would emerge just ahead of him at the next alleyway.

sister: as you try to get to the other side of the alley, a purple blur bolts down a street two blocks down.
tau: the message begins to clear as the marine catches up(ooc:you dont stand a chance outrunning him). "Fi.......we are.........be rea............be ready, we are nearing the planet our sensors are picking you up on. Tau'va" The marine is almost upon you. Sudenyl, a purple-pink blur leaps by you at an alleyway-intersection, and dissapears around a corner.
1-9: Your comm-piece picks up a message, "All Ultramarines, Divine Fury is en-route to pick us up and bring us to Ultramar. You will be given further orders upon the ship." You then also see the purple-pink blur ahead of the tau.
Tor:"Ahh, Jacob Thor. You must be Tor, then." Says the tall one. "I am Inquisitor Kalton, and this is my, uhh, helper, Grant." The bald man grunts. "I have been sent by the Ordo Xenos to meet you here. We have some important things to discuss. May we go inside and talk? (how about a post for your house?)
IC:Maximus, also cramped in the small vehicle, looks down at the floro of the vehicle. "I don't know about Dmitri, but as for the Salamander... I saw his body lyign on the ground. It was gruesome, really. He must've been ravaged by a horde of Berzerkers..." He sighs. "Poor man, may the Emperor hold his soul..."
Blur...on the run
the sister turns on her heels, looking at the Tau, then at the blur. She looks up at the space marine.
"Grab him and follow me...i feel we have greater things to fear"
she takes off running, readying her bolter. Her boots clap against the ground as she runs full speed. She reached down behind her as she ran, pulling her helmet on and sliding the visor down to cover her eyes. As she ran she searched for the frequency the marine behind her was on.

"Uhh...okay...I think." Crono said with a slight hint of confusion in his voice. Luckily his helmet was on, Crono knew the Tau were famous for their Facestabbing Technique (OOC: well, not really just quoting Jovian5). IC: Crono threw out his hand to try to grab the Tau, and also brought his Chainsword to bear in case of resistance.

OOC: And now I spaz...ok I won't spaz BUT that is a very nice example of MASSIVE god-modding! You can't just grabme, and do all this stuff without me reacting. Plus my character can hear the marines like a mile away so I should atleast get a chance to duck down a different passage. I could continue bit I won't but please fix your post.
the men
Tor relaxed the grip on his knife and let out a small sigh. "Of course brother, please follow me." Tor then turned and headed into the building. After a couple of minuted the three of them were in Tor's room. "So, what is it you wish to speak with me about?"

jovian, 1-9, fox:jovian, he says he reached out to grab you, and you just reached the FIRST intersection of this alleyway (you ducked into it to get away from the marine, but his optical sensors cought you, so he followed.) anyway, fox, we need you to say which way you went in comparison to the marine and tau. For the blurs, the purple one went ahead of where they are, and the purple-pink one went to their right. The dock is behind them, and the chapel is pretty much right next to that. that should be a nice little visual for ya. 1-9, look out for god-modding. it just isnt cool.
tor: "Well, an unmaed source has provided us with a hint that a planet within 5 sectors from here has a problem that needs fixing. that's all we got. An inquisitor is on each planet in these systems, and i have been sent to fill you in. I have with me a small unit of the Imperial Guard, Grant here being a new memebr we picked up in the hives of Necromunda, and we need to find out what this problem is, and get rid of it. You will help, of course, else you would have a shell though your head instantly." Grant slowly moves the right flap of his coat, which has a small green snake emblem on it, and a bolter is revealed.

OOC: don't give me any lip insanekaos...I have always wanted to say that but seriosly he EDITED his post! Before he..well you know but ANYWAY thanks for editing I will now post. Oh by the way I'm forgeting about 40krper's character cause I'm holding his hand any longer.
IC: And there is restence. Kauyon jumps back out of the range of the chainsword and the hand. He aims his pulse carbine but only shoots at the legs of the marine. After a few shots he continues running. "Oh ya, any time you want to pick me up is fine. I'm just having a party with a sapce marine so whenever." He says on his com to the ship.
Arrival.
The air car stopped. "We are here good sirs." The adjundent said. Alexi nodded back. They walked through a very large hallway. Alexi knew they were taking the long way, but the govennor wanted them to be amazed by his power. Alexi wasn't impressed. He'd seen greater halls than this on Ultramar. "We are here." the adjundent said.
tau,sister,marine: The two things suddenly reappear at opposite sides of the interesection, with reinforcements. It's sudden;y apparent how quite and deserted this area of the city is. The things are on two feet, buy they have four arms, the front ones with large, sharp claws and the back pair almost human. A few of the things look like they ARE partly human, standing upright, whereas the others are crouched down. All of them have a puple or pinkish skin color, and all have long teeth in their large mouths. Then they scream, and it is the sound of the Enemy Without.They blur towards you, their feet clicking against the ground, and their claws moving wildly infront of them. Then a ladder falls from a rooftop, and a voice from above yells "Climb up, the three of you, hurry!"
IC: "Ahhh, good. thank you." He walks in with Alexi.
"Hello, hello!" Says the governor, with an obviously fake note of happiness in his voice. "What is it that you need, warriors?" he asks
"I need an Astropath, and soon." Maximus states simply, "You, Alexi?"
Re: Arrival.
"Okay, @#%$ the racial differences for now, we have other things to worry about!" Crono said as the pulses flew past his legs and the crazy creatures began their assault.
"Sister!" Crono called out. "Forget holding them off, you and possibly the Tau climb up and go, I'll hold them off seeing as I have the thickest armour here!"
With that, Crono pulled out his Boltpistol and wielded it in his left hand, and held the Bolter with his right hand. He pointed the pistol down the left hand alleyway, and the Bolter down the right, and pulled both triggers.

ooc:First can I point out to the marines that Ultramar isn't a planet, it's an area of space to the galactic south of the segmentum solar. The ultramarines homeworld is called maccarage.
Tor nodded slightly, "Although such an act would be seem as heresy I shall assist in this matter, just allow me to change into something more appropriate and we can be on our way." Tor got up and moved into an adjoining room. After a couple of minutes he returned again clad in his flack jacket and storm coat, his bionic right arm and newly aquired weapns plain to see. "Well then, where to?"
Too tired to think right now
"Well I would probally need the astropath too. But as I am going to Ultramar with Maximus, it will suffice that he uses it. Also I must warn you. As Chaos has taken Harmony they might chooseto strike here next. Always be vigilent, in the name of the Emperor." Alexi said in a preaching tone. The govenor looked pale for a second, butregained his composure. "Yes, yes. You may use the astropath. Thank you for the warning, great warrior. The Emperor protects" He said dutifully.

OOC: Well, I'll assume again (since a mod hasn't replied) that some of the creatures were slowed down or at least killed, so I'm beating it!
IC:
Releasing the triggers, Crono holsters his guns quickly, jumps high up the wall and grabs the ladder. Looking down he sees the evil monsters again, so he draws his Boltpistol and tries to blow one's head off. Crono starts climbing again and soon he reaches the top, and as soon as he does, Crono whips out his chainsword and saws the ladder off.

IC: Kauyon jumps up and grabs the 9th rung. He aims his carbine and fires a grenade at each...thing. He puts the carbine away and climbs up the ladder. He got to the top and mumbled about regreting this.
when things could get worse...
Senta dropped to one knee as she fired, quickly letting the first spent clip fall from her weapon before jamming the second magazine into place. She glared at the tau, her eyes a pair of cold, blue stones set in the mask of her black and white helmet.
"you" she started firing at the advancing creatures "i sudjest you stick close to me...else i might get suspicous of your actions...understand me?"

"Yeah Tau. Now come here." Crono said as he brandished his Chainsword. Crono moved closer to the Tau to grab him again, and hopefully handcuff him.
"Oh, by the way. Thanks for helping us, whoever you are." Crono said to the person that let down the ladder.
