Well, Paul, my Vancouverite, honestly never says, "eh?" The first time I asked him something and used "eh" myself, he thought I was making fun of him due the the Canadian thing-- but I've always used it all my life, and I'm 100% native Californian His little joke whenever he goes back to visit his family on Vancouver Island, is to always put "eh" at the end of every question... They think he's insane
Re: favourite accent? when i went to niagara falls earlier this summer, a lot of ppl didn't say it either... except for the waitress in applebee's. i was so disappointed!

It's so cool I used to talk at my old job to a couple of Canadians in Montreal and Toronto... Both of 'em used "eh?" all the time-- I thought it was so cute

i love the southern accent and it sounds best on a man although i have been told i sound pretty good doing it too... but a man with a southern accent is da bomb!!
