I'm sorry, but I just get this image, whenever Swamp Dragons are mentioned, of sgt. colon (I think) standing on a rooftop with a sock on his head singing some obscure tune, and debating whether this gives him 100 to 1 odds of success.
In case you didn't guess, my vote os for Guards! Guards!
I'm a freak, an aggrivation. It seems I made the right decision.

Re: Swamp dragons ...
ahh....moon dragons....c/o the nice shiny moon plants.....only TP could come up with a moon with light atmosphere.
i loved that bit in jingo when the two armies were sitting round with nothing to do, and getting a bit edgy, so C Carrot organised the soccer game. i could just imagine anguas face as she sits back and watches him try and explain the rules, at the same time as xplaining that swords were in fact Not used anywhere in it.
i want a pet swamp dragon... or perhaps a years supply...(maybe about 60...one every 6 days... yeah, acording to vimes descriptions that would be the life expectancy of one in my house....the cats would cause some pretty major messes)

This little pig went to Hades
This little pig stayed home
This little pig ate raw and steaming human flesh
This little piggy violated virgins
And this little pig clambered over a heap of dead bodies to get to the top
Re: Swamp dragons ...
You're going to try and force me to choose? I love the watch books, and they all had their moments. It doesn't help that I've read nothing at all in order. That, and I sometimes forget which title goes to which story line
I just got through feet of clay, and that was great, but so were all his others. The patrician ...when he figured out how he was being poisoned, but didn't tell anyone to give Vimes the opportunity to do it himself...

men at arms
My favourite Watch book is Men at Arms, largely because it was the first TP I ever read, and it's sorta became my point of reference for TP books.
Also, of course, Carrot gets a GIRLFRIEND! WHOO-HOO!
Ha-h'm. Sorry, that won't happen again. Ha-ah-h'm.

Really? That's interesting...I am so biased towards 5th Elephant and I am not quite sure why. The first one that I read was, erm, Guards! Guards! and I really loved it. ALL of the Guards books are fantastic, though ^_^
Feel free to shout and be a little nutty here--it's no fun otherwise *wink*
