Re: Monty Cobra
Grrrrrr, we don't have any channels that play monty python- maybe some of the 200 or however many channels packages do, but I could probably buy the movies for less.

I wouldn't count on college maturity. Remember when kids thought high school seniors would be mature? HA!

Re: Monty Cobra
My brother tried to download Holy Grail but it didn't work. I really want to see it in Japanese on the DVD though! I'll get life of Brian and Meaning of Life so we can spend all night viewing the rest... I've got to get back to my English play. It's really a downer. Between my twisted sculptures and papers about death I think I've got some people worried.:rolleyes

hello all
just found this site and what a place to visit. i am from england, portsmouth on the south coast. don't be jealous of the english as everywhere far off always looks more interesting than wherever you call here. just glad that my favourite author has such a following, as i've read everything so far and think he's brilliant. the wee free men is great for the added scottish accents and for the wee men themselves, hope to see more of them and as for wyoming some one claimed to be from there on a gaming site this evening, so maybe it's not just an urban myth. just remember pratchett himself writes there was an all pervading rain just like bognor. well i live about 30 mins from there and it's true, so all you in sunny states you have my jealousy.

Re: hello all
Welcome, fellow british Islander (British Isleser? Islandser?)

Terry does have a pretty big online following and this is only a small aprt of it... still, I like to think we do our best. Incidently, his real world following got Monstrous regiment up to about #3 in many charts in the UK, the week before it was released, due to copies finding their way onto shelves a little early.

You may be pleased to know that Tiffany is returning soon (sometime in 2004... I think spring, but it may not be till October/November... The 1st October publishing date for MR (usually its 1st November) does suggest we're due something early next year)... so its not implausible that the Nac Mac Feegle will also feature (IIRC Granny gets a larger roll in this book and Tiffany is a few years older)

Bugger Bognor.
