Hmph! See if I feel sorry for you now! Dangling evil hints like deaths in the next book should be punished with extreme suffering...If it isn't enough that you get the books eight months earlier than we do...
I'll just go admire my signed books now, I think, and perhaps contemplate getting the next one signed when he comes on tour again *wanders off happily*

Good. You do that. I'll just have to go and contemplate my signed Pratchetts with their _decent covers_
...grumble... what thanks do I get for introducing someone to an author.... they go and rub signed copies of them in your face.... at least I don't live in America...

Re: re sherlock holmes
*looks innocent* How was I to know you hadn't gotten your books signed as well? And, hey, it was a bit of work for us to get to where he was appearing as it was! It's a rather amusing story--when you look back on it, that is. Terry Pratchett IS touring the US quite soon, though I am not sure where...*crosses fingers* If ONLY...
Well, of course you don't want to live in America! I should think something was wrong with you if you did. Hmmm...I don't think that I am very patriotic. I want to live abroad after college anyway so good-bye U.S. of loud, bossy and uncultured A.! You never know--we might turn up in England one day. I know I would kill to go there...so would SPF, I think. But unlike her mother, mine thinks it is a wonderful idea to leave the country after college ^_^
Anyway, I was going to say something mean to you, but now I am completely off the subject. But, hey, you know, the covers aren't...well...they're...I mean...okay, fine! *goes off sadly to wish on a star for WoLP*

"A bit of work?" *snort* That's an understatement... it is one heck of a story though... *grins*
I am considering England for study abroad, mainly because my school doesn't offer a trip to Italy, and Australia would be way most expensive.... Hehe, I would seriously love to go back to England though and have more time there (minus the structyred school group... )

Well, damn.
I am too angry to react...
Well, SPF, how are we going to get to California? Or perhaps about New York? Ann Arbor is only two hours away from me, but do you see a vehicle around? Yeah. Great.

Yeah. You'd have a better chance flying to England. Or you should send one to rob in England...oh wait, he wouldn't get it signed for you!

OKay, confirmed times dates and places are below, I'm not sure if anythings changed. Also details of the UK tour... incase you do decide to get a plane ticket.
Less than a fortnight now til Monstrous Regiment is out- yay.
I'm sure its been mentioned before, but I'm not in England, English or ffiliated with the UK in anyway. I'm Manx (from the Isle of Man)... a totally different country that isn't even part of the European Union. Terry has /never/ done a signing tour in my country... so consider yourselves lucky
