"No position is ever permament, all changes except the blood that lies behind the position." he instructed her tensely, it was time to put her back in her place, he was not a liar, and he was her master.
Tehr stood slowly, walking with slow steps to his slave, hand flicking out, locking in her hair while his foot snapped into her stomach again.
"You are not dead because I do not desire you death." he answered flatly, pulling her upright by her hair sharply, his boot coming again into her stomach
"You believe it because I say it, my word is all you know, and I do not lie, not to an animal." His eyes locked with Celests as he yanked Ryleigh back upright again.
"300 years of service and I get you two," he sneered, face close to hers, shoving back and releasing her to topple to the ground.
With slow steps he walked back to his table and sat back down, having again another drink while he watched his slave, gulping down the drink almost bitterly and reaching to pour another.

Ryleigh coughed and gagged, her scalp and neck pounding from being wrenched, her stomach curling over itself, cursing her every moment, sharp pains running through her body.
As Tehr released her, she laughed, coughing ever breath or two but laughing all the same, eye brimming with pain-filled tears, but sheer will holding them back. He would not see her pain.
She coughed again, blinking her eyes rapidly ridding them of their signs of weakness before turning to Tehr, tousled hair obstructing her view slightly.
"Having fun with me yet?" She breathed painfully, laughing once more, shoving in his face, that his painful tactics were not working.

Tehr looked at her from over the top of his glass, having sat back down again. Her strength really was something to. he cut that thought off slowly, she was an animal, a snivelling animal, like all of the rest.
"no, I don't enjoy that." he said simply, "are you?"

"Yes, actually I do." She replied quickly, her strength slowly returning, she shifted herself onto her knees, a grin on her face an odd twinkle in her eye.
"I find it rather amusing to watch someone continue to use tactics that they do not in enjoy and are not clearly not working." She paused letting her words sink in.
"Especially when they are supposed to be the higher species, and should be able to tell when something is not going right." She nodded to herself, shrugging slightly.
"Yep, amusing." She said again, settling herself back on her bum before snorting and turning away.

"habit, tradition, expected." he said almost amking it sound simple, almost managing to.
"You are my trophies, you are my reward for centuries serving my role well" bitterer than he noticed through the haze of amber running through him now.
"and I want good trophies, I should have good trophies." he shrugged, refilling his glass, speaking what it was that had smacked his head hard a short while ago, using the sound of his voice to sort out his confused thought.

Ryleigh raised an eyebrow, her expression flat.
"Um, okay..." She replied oddly, sighing slightly, he was going back to the trophey thing. She swallowed and looked to Celest again, blinking and turning back watching him down another drink, his words weren't even really making sense now.
"Well... I'm going to go to sleep now, as a drunk Drow is not fun to @#%$ with." She said cheekily, turning and leaning over on the floor, shifting a bit in her chains trying and failing horribly to get comfortable.

Tehr didn't exactly hear her, shaking his head again at himself
"you ain't dead, you ain't gonna die" he said simply
"You are my tophies, the only damned ones I got, 300 years of crawling through @#%$ for my house, for my 'patron' and all I get" he polished off another, knowing any more really would make him too drunk to keep his guard up
"the two of you" he slammed his glass back down again.

Ryleigh sat up slowly, slightly confused by his odd ranting, one leg raising, arm resting on her knee. She stared oddly at Tehr for a moment, her mouth opening to speak but closing immediatly after, shaking her head slightly.
"What the hell are you talking about?" She asked deciding she was confused, watching him down another drink.

Tehr looked at her as though just noticing she hadn't been listening to him. His eyes narrowed down
"You wanted to know why you weren't dead, thats it. I ain't gonna kill the only damned thing I got to show for my work, for over 3 centuries of service, for one of babysitting some high-blood and doing his job for him."
"I always wanted a hydra," he muttered slowly, snapping his eyes back up
"but I'll always end up with a dog, and the only reason for it, position in life."
He stopped then,
"Where do you get your lack of fear from? You say you don't fear death, why?"

Ryleigh blinked at Tehr slowly, offended that she was his slave just because. She blinked at him again. blue eyes locking on the now drunken Blade master in front of her, deciding to leave his rambling alone, until he asked her a question, a question in which she already had an answer to.
"I told you before only the unhappy fear death. I meant that." She paused turning away for a moment, her odd grin failing, her eyes misting, turning back to Tehr slowly, not bothering to hide weakened eyes as he was too drunk to notice.
"Love has kept me from being unhappy. Being loved, and returning it, fully, and without restraint." She told him, a lump forming in her throat. It was very true that Ryleigh did not fear death, but one thing she did fear, was not being able to care for her love, Tehr prevented that, death prevented that, and it was not fear she felt for them, but a burning hatred.
"There is something I do fear though." She chuckled, admitting it only slightly and bitterly.
Something you would never understand." She finished, turning away from him once again, settling herself against the stake in the ground swallowing hard.
With knees propped up, watery blue eyes buried themselves in the ripped sleeved of her robes, she sobbed silently thinking about the only person she cared about at this point.
"Peregrin...I love you..."

Tehr gazed down, a hollow triumph filling him, a victory he would not push home, his mind crashed and he stared at her, growling at last as the confusion rolled back a little, giving way to his taught mind.
"Love, you're an animal, you don't know the first thing of love. But try me, if your that convinced I wouldn't understand."
He would have to look through the slave roster, see if this Peregrin was here.

"You do not deserve to know." She spat. "Not like you would know anything about it anyway.

He didn't order it, just leant back in his seat, holding his empty glass lightly and waiting.

Celest hadnt said a thing this whole conversation. Ryleigh had made very excellent points, and all Tehr could sauy was "your my damned trophies" pathetic, he couldnt even keep up with Ryleigh anymore.
Ryleigh kept throwing glances at Celest, should she say something? What was the point, Tehr was obviously drunk he would just rant on and on about how he got landed with the two of them, and how they are his trophies. Celest had tried to keep her head turned from Tehr during their whole conversation, and witha bitter look she turned to face him again, "Your are stuck with us then...looks like you will have to put up with us" she said sneering....
(OOC geeze I go to bed and wake up in the morning and you guys have posted friggen 20 new posts!!! Yikes! LOL TAG....)

Tehr pushed the desire to hurt either of these two away, using the foggy haze of amber numbness to do the job and sat still, this could prove to be the key to getting something he could show off for his years of work.
"A few," He shook his head at himself, "one" This had better be good, he paused, squinting to make the edges of her solid again

Ryleigh lifted her head, blinking, she turned to Tehr an odd expression on her face. She let his response run over in her head again, and a true grin cracked then a laugh.
"No Tehr, no it doesn't." She chuckled again, grateful slightly to him for a good laugh before turning back around and shoving her head into her folded arms. "It doesn't at all." She repeated slowly.

Even in the worst of situations!" she said starring oddly at Tehr, "Someone as great as you, Tehr...ofcourse you must have been in love before" she said grinning....

Tehr glared a moment, determined to remain sitting, he would figure these humans out, they were different to the ones they kept at home, more wild, less domesticated, truer maybe
"All I have I have from slaying in the name of my house." He paused
"No time for love, no desire to love, it would be a distraction I thought." that last bit slipped out, his eyes narrowed at himself, maybe he had had a little too much
"My greatest comes from this." he held his dagger up loosely, dropping it again onto the table
"That doesn't allow for love, which is a waste of time anyway."
