((Actually, I used the Cheese charm thing in a prank. It hould be in the Great Hall, if you wanted to know.))
Rhiannon saw the beetles coming towards her. As her first instinct, she yelled "Frezium!" and the beetles stopped in place. It was a strange combination. The freezing charm made the beetles odd looking; their shells glittering and legs frozen. Rhiannon laughed and smiled at Wren. This could be fun, maybe.
Rhiannon looked at the Drow. It appeared that he was still watching, amused.
"Locomoto Mortis." Rhiannon said semi-loudly. Hopefully, Wren wouldn't be to hurt.
((Sorry, Wren. *shrinks away in fear*))

Re: Dueling Pen
occ: Sorry I was under the impression that your wands were taken away from you. Just use the one i gave you if possible.
The Drow sat legs crossed on the stone. It grinned slightly at the anticks but knew these youngens were playing a certain game. It breathed heavily and decided to continue watching before adding the extra dangerous measure. No use showing it needlessly
Re: Dueling Pen
"Cheese!" Wren shouted, meaning to say something a little more profane, but not compleatly.
*She threw the wand out behind her, conjuring up a polyester flame retardent pillow. She only hoped that whatever store manager worked where it had come from didn't get in to much trouble. then by will she conjured a large Wisconsen Cheese head hat onto Rhiannon's head, covering her eyes and folowed it up with a sweater two sizes to small, around Rhiannon's body, but with her arms, inside the sweater, instead of down the sweater's arms. Pinning them to her sides.*

Re: Dueling Pen
The Elf grinned wickidly muttering under it's breath about the girls agression. But it could see they were unwilling to really fight. Maybe they thought that they would beable to fool it, but unfortunately for them it wasn't as stoopid as the thought.
It called a dark wizard over and muttered something in its ear. Suddenly without warning a large metal plate with spines protruding towards the ground appeared at the top of the dome. With a metalic sckreach it began to lower itself, filling the dome as it went.
occ: I'm aware I can't kill you, and it wont, but rp as if it will if you understand me.
Re: Dueling Pen
Rhiannon shrieked as she was pinned inside clothing. She laughed at the same time though. Lifting her wand the best she could and pointing it at the sweater, she muttered, "Engorgio((sp?))". After doing the same thing with the hat, she was free. Rhiannon was startled as she looked up. A massive steal plate with spikes took place of whatever dome had been there, and was slowly lowering itself. "Impedimenta!" Rhiannon screamed at the plate, not waiting to see if it slowed down.
Rhiannon turned back to Wren, levitating the sweater and hat above the girls head. In a quick instant, the sweater was on Wren, as was the hat, both shrunk to fit tightly around her. Her own weapons against her, Rhiannon thought. This duel was not as serious as it could've been, and now was going for highly insane.
"Tarantallegra!" Rhiannon sang happily, not worrying about the ceiling. She pushed her sleeves up a bit further, and waved the wand that wasn't her own.

Re: Dueling Pen
The wizard that had created the ceiling was still standing there. He grinned at the girls futile attempted to stop the ceiling. He simply pointed his wand at it and it began moving down faster. She after all was a young wizard and no match for someone of such experience.
Re: Dueling Pen
"Cheese Cheese Cheese!!!" Screatched Wren, meaning to ask what the piont was in crushing them.
*She pointed the wand handed her out infront of her, and with all the strenth she could muster began to conjure rocks, each no bigger than a basketball. One on top of the other, trying to build a colmn to stop the ceilling, but as her tower reached the height of the cieling, it simply knocked them loose of one another, and sent them cascading back to the ground.
Wren flinched as they rained down, but she could not move from where she was, her legs locked together, and her vocabulary reduced to cheese, so she could not say the incantation nessisary for the countercurse. All of this made her angry, quite angry, and not her usual icy anger, but the type of fiery anger usualy reserved only for her fluff brained sister.
Now, had she been back at school, under different circumstances, she may have been able to control herself, but, given the scenario, she was not. No other acceptable target being within the magical feild besides Rhinnon's clothing, or the pillow she sat on Wren directed her anger at, the frozen betteles which cought fire and burned to ash.
At that piont, the ceiling began to get to Wren, who's greatest fears in life, were swarms of bees, falling from high places. And being anyplace where she was likely to have the ceiling cave in, or in this case, silpy fall down and impale her.*
"Cheese." she said, by way of sorry, relizing what the elves wanted.
*Either the g.i.r.l.s were to fight for real, or BOTH be impaled by the falling spikes from above. Wren knew what she had to do. it was risky, and doubthfull that Rhinnon would later understand but if it worked, it would save them both. And provoke Rhinnon into attacking her back.
Wren thought back to the summer in New York when she'd been running barefoot in Lyddie's back yard. When she'd suddely felt fire spreading up her legs. It had burned horribly for a day, but then it just itched....It was perfect. Perfectly awful.
Wren pointed her wand and concentrated, conjuring up a full swarm of red ants around Rhinnon's feet, which swarmed up her legs and began biting her.*

Re: Dueling Pen
((Starts before the fire-ant thing, and I read your OOC post. That's fine, although it's Rhiannon, not Rhinnon))
Rhiannon cursed herself mentally for finding any security at all in her minor slowing spells. She looked to Wren, who looked absolutely furious. Suddenly, fire ants started crawling towards her.
"Oh, Shi-na-na!" Rhiannon yelled, quite sillily((is that a word?)). Before she responded to the ants, she undid the cheese spell with a very quiet 'Finite Incantatum((sp?))'. The elf would not know that she had done that, because Rhiannon and Violet had created the spell themselves, and it was in no book. Turning back to the fire ants, Rhiannon bit her lip. She HATED ants, and insects of any type.
"Madesco!" Rhiannon said, sending a small flood of water that washed the ants away. She tried to mentally tell Wren to fight harder, for both their sakes. Rhiannon searched her mind for the perfect spell.
"Producto Produxi!" Rhiannon yelled. A bright ray of light came out of her wand tip and directed intself at Wren's eyes, just the right angle not to reflect form the glasses.
((Both of my spells are in the SBoS, although I'm not quite sure of the spelling. Also, Rhi hasn't yet discovered the elves' good hearing. Also, the Tarantall-whatever spell was supposed to make you dance.))

Re: Dueling Pen
((I can't dance! You put the leg locker curse on me!!!!))
"Flipendo!" Cried Wren newly able to speak, in words other than 'cheese.' Blindly waving the wand before her as the light struck her in her eyes, temorarily blinding her.
"Aquium!"
*Wren shot a widespread wave of water over Rhiannon, who had been knocked back a bit by the wave, and then conjured a small pod if Jelyfish into the wave. Few managed to actualy land in the wave, as she was till unable to see.*
((You decide if the Jellyfish got you.))

Re: Dueling Pen
((Sorry bout the dancing thing, I lost track. Okay...))
Rhiannon made a slightly gurgled scream as the water swept over her. She managed to avoid the jellyfish, and countered the spell with a quick drying charm.
"Stupefy!" Rhiannon yelled, standing up.

Re: Dueling Pen
The Drow grinned as the girls appeared to be dueling for their lives, but the spined board continued to lower itself taking up space in the dome as it went, so there was no where to hide.
It cackled evily as one of the longer spikes was millimetres above Wrens head.
Re: Dueling Pen
Rhiannon smacked herself mentally. It would do no good at all if Wren were stupified...Rhiannon swished her was and said 'Enervate!' This wasn't boding well...
((Dang short posts...I think the enervate thing is right, and if not, tell me and I'll edit. Argh...spikes still coming...))

Re: Dueling Pen
((Yup, that should fix one problem here...but I am still leg locked. Hang on, I'll get it.))
*It was at that moment, as she was getting blasted by that stupifying charm, that Wren remembered that now that she could speak, she could fix her little leg problem. She pionted the wand at her legs and muttered the countercurse, and her legs sprang apart. Then the world went black it was soft and fuzzly and warm in ths unconcois state, like she was floating...*
"Enervate!" heard Wren somplace far away, and sudennly she was plummeting back to reality.
"Well Stupify yourself!" she shouted from where she lay on the ground, and shoot of that spell in the totaly wrong direction. "Arg! Looks like you came from the shalow end of the gean pool there! You're mother was a TROLL right!"
*Wren, was still momentarly stunned by the stupifying charm, unable to do anything other than run at themouth for a moment or two. Then, regaining her balance but still laying down she said....*
"Did someone order tarantulas?"
*And sitting up abruptly she threw a half dzen tarantulas, which she had conjured into her pocket just a moment before, at Rhiannon. And began to charge at her, the old fasioned muggle way, hoping that Rhiannon would be to busy dealing with the bugs to realize what she planned to do.*

Re: Dueling Pen
Rhiannon fumed.
"My mother was not a troll, thank you very much!" she screamed.
"Mobiliarmus!" Rhiannon shouted, sending the tarantulas back at Wren. She was mad now.
"Do have some weird obsession with bugs, Wren?" Rhiannon yelled, hopelessly avoiding her anger. "And if you dare call my mother anything horrid ever again, you'll get it TEN-FOLD!"
"You may think you see who I really am, but you'll never know me." ~Reflection
Re: Dueling Pen
Rhiannon froze the cockroaches and watched them fall to the floor and shatter.
"That's real mature, Wren!" she screamed, raising her wand. "Expelliarmus!" Rhiannon yelled. Wren's wand came flying to her, and the girl went backwards. Rhiannon threw both wands down, and set her foot on top of them.
"I refuse to fight such a...a...a PERSON like you! You are a cold, uncaring BRUJA, and you should've been put in SLYTHERIN!" Rhiannon was inexplicably mad. She hadn't been this mad since the stupid people made her sit out of the Quidditch game for a stupid broken wrist.

Duelling Pen
(Im all over the place so watch out teehee)
From the distance Celest heard loud bickering. She looked over to see Rhiannon and Wren having a terrible row. She glared and ran over as quickly as possible. When she got their she scowled heavily "Do you two want to get yourselves killed?" she looked from one to the other "put your differences aside!" she sighed "Look..do any of you need healing?" she asked quietly trying not to be over heard "Ive got my wand back and I have all my energy!" she said glancing at one of the Drow....

Re: Duelling Pen
((um, 2 things Celestina, 1 your kinda bound in Tehrs tent, not releised yet, two even if you were you can't get to them theres a nice little forcefieldy thingiee))
The Drow watched enthrawled, this was better than it had ever hoped. The two looked like they were ready to kill each other. It laughed as they faught violently.
The cieling continued to lower itself surely they would have to fight on their knees soon, as the longest of the spikes where already at their shoulders.
Re: Dueling Pen
((Celest, we were sort of forced into this duel, there's nothing personal about it, well, there wasn't untill I started shouting unsults, which reminds me....))
*Wren bent down as the spines were at her shoulders, and began running at Rhinnon to attempt to head but her, seeing as how she was now in posession of both of the duling wands.*
"Oh come off it you stinking doaugher of a gnome!" shouted Wren, trying to further provoke her.
((Um, MR. DARK CREATURES you threw wands at our feet, now Rhi took the wand you threw at my feet, do I still have mine. The one I was using to biuld the pen earlier in this thread?))
