| SBA Senate Guidelines Members of the Senate: Each clan in the SBA will be allowed up to three members access to the Senate forum. Acting as senate representatives for the SBA community. There will be three representative for the Referee’s Guild to bring forth facts from SBA matches. These Referees are not members of the Senate, they are here to represent our Referees. Finally, there will be the SBA admin staff, they are not members of the Senate, nor may they retain their status as Senate Reps for their clans. The Administrators/clerks will ensure the Senate runs smoothly and will enforce the rules and punishments of the SBA. Procedures for Official Discussions: 1) New Rule Proposals: As issues are brought to the Senate they will be presented to the Senate forum as a [Proposal] at which time they will either receive support from two other clans or the admins. Once supported the issue will be open for [Official] discussion for a period of 72 hours by the Admins. At this time the issue will be closed and will be moved to vote in the Voting Boothforum. This will go on for 48 hours at which time votes are tallied and a verdict is decided. 2) Match Issues: Match Appeals need to be handled in an official manner. The clan bringing the [Appeal] to the Senate needs to accumulate all of their facts into one initial post, before discussion will begin the Appeal must find the support of two other clans. Then, the other clan(s) involved will reply with one official rebuttal. The Senate will ask questions and the clans will put forth their one response each for their conclusion. The issue will be discussed in the Senate for a period of 24-72 hours. It will then be moved to vote for a period of 24-48 hours. After the vote, the issue is concluded unless substantial evidence is brought to an admin in private so the admin staff can decide whether it is enough to impact the Senate’s decision and initiate a new appeal. Conduct: The Senate must be treated in higher regard than anything else in the SBA. Should anyone choose to start insulting, flaming, deleting, editing or posting inappropriately in Senate threads they will be warned and then removed. There is zero tolerance in the Senate. Each clan will be allowed ONE vote. (Note: Multiple votes from a clan will result in all of them to be thrown out!) Admin Staff: Only Administrative staff can make a topic Official in the Senate or start a vote following the above procedures. We are here to help, the current Senate Clerk staff includes: No music or Adult themes, images and content must be kept clean and official, including Signatures.
