Hi Guys, I haven't posted in a while, because without K&S there hasn't been much to say. However, with this GREAT news, I'm back!!! Can't wait to see my man back on screen. I'm just mystified about what the story will be. We've heard so much crap the last year about how Mike is "the love of Katie's life", so what do you all think will happen, especially since Mark C. doesn't appear to be going anywhere? They better not use Simon as the fall guy again!

I don't think they are using Simon to be a fall guy again, because if they were why would they want him longer than for the 3 months and why would they be so confident that they can convince Paul Leyden to stay even longer than the three months that he has agreed to. And from what I have read elsewhere why would he already be considering staying even longer than three months if all they were going to do is trash his character again.
Plus I just can't see PL coming back for 3 months or however long they can convince him to stay if all they were going to do is trash his character more than they already have. Plus there is just no way PL would come back to do that.
Plus if they can't get him to stay longer and god forbid they were to trash the character more then that would definetly close the door on PL ever coming back again for any more short stints or for good.
I'm thinking if they play their cards right they can get PL to stay even longer and if they were to offer him a good deal where it allows him to do other things besides ATWT's than I think he would be willing to stay long-term.
I hope the same thing happens with PL and ATWT's, that happened on Days with the actor that plays Jack like someone else said in one of these posts too. On Days, originally that actor's stay was for a few months but now it has been 5 years and he is still on contract. So maybe ATWT's can do the same thing with Paul Leyden. I hope and pray.

I agree with you, sinder. I don't think that Paul would consider staying longer than 3 months, if ATWT were going to make Simon the fall guy, to pimp up Matie. He wouldn't agree to that again. It's a good sign that he's considering staying longer than 3 months! Contract hopefully!

He is coming back Ella454, it is just that the TV guides are always a lot slower than the magazines in receieving information about the happenings going on at the soaps.
I find always with my TV guide that the information always comes out in the TV guide a week or two after it is already been printed in the soap magazines.
