E: I counted the phase "Strawberry Kisses" 4 times in the entire lyrics posted at www.nikki.com.au (I used a script so my programming may have gotten it wrong). Also the recipe for ANY pop song nowadays, seems to be, a Chorus you remember, a catching tune and a female singer. So Strawberry Kisses is no different from other pop songs.
F: Hmm... You can't tell, but on the other hand, if she suddenly stops singing (HEY it actually requires more energy to sing without a word than to let the words get out) and the song continues, you know it's playback, else you don't.

I don't see ANY of those reasons as GOOD reasons, it seems like you've been looking for something to hate for a while and finally found it...

I was incensed by the foul and inaccurate comments of Dirtiestshoes, and was going to post a long reply. Until I realised that "MuckyBoots" has not responded to any of your replies since posting the opening message back in June.

I suspect that his / her parents discovered what "he/she/it" had written and had now decided that their offspring indeed fitted into catagory a) and have now done what they should have done just after the umbilical cord was cut.

a). What sort of SICK person can admit to hating someone because they are ugly. Or was "MuckyBoots" looking into a mirror when they thought up that expression.

b). MuckyBoots must also be profoundly deaf, as well as profoundly DAFT and as ugly as sin. Nikki's voice is exceptionally nice. Her voice is too good to be wasted on singing pop songs alone, and am very glad that she is going back to singing (staring even) in musicals again. I would also like her to perform other kinds of songs and even a bit of light classical stuff as well.

c). When you are an actor, and your script / libretto says do this and wear that, you do it. If you saw Nikki walking around town like that, then your comment is valid, otherwise, shut up !

d). Yeah! Cute isn't it !
Personally I'd rather kiss it than slap it, but then I'm not that kinky !

e). Compared to some football songs that have VERY COMPLICATED Lyrics (well for football supporters they are complicated) like :-
"'Er we go, 'er we go, 'er we go.
'Er we go, 'er we go, 'er we g-o.
'Er we go, 'er we go, 'er we go,
'Er we g-o, 'ER WE GO !"

Strawberry Kisses must seem like a foreign language.
I agree that for my personal taste the song does have a few too many "Fruity Snogs" in it, But it is HARDLY a reason to hate her, and regardless of what the words are, and Nikki didn't write them, she sings them beautifully.

f). 75% of popstars NEVER sing live, because they can't. Of the remaining 25%, about 20% do sing live, but shouldn't bother, becuase they aren't much good, and the remaining 5% are like Nikki. True singers, who can sing live. Nikki refused to perform in Beijing because they wouldn't let her sing live, and even at her "sing & sign" promotions around OZ, she has had a few hiccups when microphones failed, proving that she does sing live.

Well "MuckyBoots" I have gone through your list of reasons to hate Nikki, and all I can find are reasons to admire and love her. If you can hate someone after looking at those facts, then your mental balance must be a bit screwed up.
