Opinions Needed!
Fellow 'Pythoners',
Since this boards opening (almost 6 months ago) the traffic and posting here has been on the slow side. This is fine for a board that is just starting, but I think we are ready for the next big leap up the ladder in the way of board size. I am VERY greatful for the regulars here and I am interested in recuriting a few more people to our looney bin . I am looking for any good ideas that would help this board be a better place to post and possibly encourage more people to join.
This includes but is not limited to:
-Good advertising spots (Other than the CSC)
-Board improvements (Colors, layout, banners, emoicons)
-Anything you can think of
Every thing posted will be taken into full consideration.

I just tried to put the new set of about 14 emoticons. I say tried because I can't. Custom smily things are only avalible to gold boards. I don't have the money for this right now. The new feature is ready to go, just not able to go.
On the brighter side of life ( )...I can edit the post Icons. If anyone has any images that would work for this please post them here.

I dont blame you for not paying for the Gold... dang, they should throw the ability to customize a few icons in with the free membership... aferall, we get all the popups... well unless we have a blocker.... gona go hit my head against the wall some more now...
My honest opinion is that you have too many forums... for instance... I think there could be seprate threads for fans of each Python rather than a forum for each.... Having everything so separated is very alienating for the user. Just my 2 cents...

What I mean is that new users (and regs) don't wanna post in a forum by themselves. It's not very much fun to post in a Terry Gilliam forum if you're the only one posting in it, for example.

It is not that people don't like him, it is just that they may want to talk about him more if all the pythons had one big forum instead of six little ones.

Making this forum a more compact one that you can easily overview will be a good thing though. The python threads can be put under one header.
