Mike and Krys Merino enter a few moments later, and are greeted by Steven and Aurora. "You can in a few minutes ago, Rawhide," Aurora said, pointing toward the other couple.
"That's just plain weird," Mike said, trademark tan hat replaced with a black Stetson.
"Very," Krys agreed. "And who's he with? She looks familiar, but I can't quite place her."

Trench somehow got him & Daniel out on the middle of the floor. Stepping back he gave a piercing whistle and made a jesture to cut the music. Once it was silent and everyone was looking in his direction he grinned.
Going down on one knee in front of Daniel he pulled a small box out of his pocket.
"Daniel, baby. I know this is sudden and all that, but..." Opens the box to revel a plain, simple silver ring with 2 dragons entwined holding a fire opal between their claws. ".. I'd like you to be my life mate. Will you Marry me?"

Krysten took a glass of champagne from a passing server. "So where's Adry? We haven't really met her new husband yet."
"She's not planning to come," Aurora replied, sipping from a glass of her own. "David had to take the unit out on an extensive partol, and he won't get back for a few days. She says she's 'too fat' to leave the house without him."
"When's she due again?" Mike asked.
"Mid-March. That's all she'll tell me. David's family has a bet going, on just about everything, and she doesn't want to give anyone an unfair advantage if the word should get out."
"She's happy, though?" Krys asked.
"Extremely," Aurora assured them. "Moreso than I've ever seen her in her life."

Back in the main room, Emily and Lyore arrive arm in arm. Emily has on a bright blue backless, strapless dress that flares out softly at the hips into a full skirt. Lyore's formal outfit has blue highlights to match Emily's dress. Emily spots Endora and waves.

The black gleam catches Steven's eye, and he quietly directs Aurora's attention to the dark figure. "Angel, look."
She frowns. "Oh, nuts." She takes a quick look around, realizing that no one else is really aware of the dark figure, and certain no one knows his repuatation. "No one's up for that kind of confrontation tonight. There are children here, for crying out loud."
"I'll keep an eye on him. But be ready for anything."
She snorts. "The most effect I can have in this outfit is to flash someone to get their attention."
He leans down and kisses her quickly, chuckling. "Do what you have to do, love."

A small comotion by the door. Will & Zan have finnaly shown up. She's dressed in a Black and Silver ankle legnth flaring silk skirt with a matching over tunic. He's wearing Black leather pants, boots & a matching Tunic, also in Black & silver.
Zan: "Blast it Will you know I hate this type thing."
Will: "You just need to get out more. Besides everyone else is here."
Zan: " 'Everyone' is not here."
Will: "Close enough"
Zan: "You had better be making this up to me."
Will: "Don't worry, I will be."
(Leans down to whisper something to her, her eyes widen slightly then she grins)
