Mission 8: A New Threat

2 DAYS AFTER THE LAST BATTLE OF THE BLACK FANG...

He sat in the bed, starring at the ceilling, waiting for the doctors to let him go. He had been waiting here since after the surgery. Now, his wounds had been healed. He still remembered that frantic scene when he had been pulled from the cold depths of outer space.

"...is he? One of us?..."

"...ow. Just picked him up. Read hi..."

"...is name is Reno Victor, pilot of Gundam Aqualung, born..."

"...ang soldier, huh? Take him to the docter, then we can..."

He didn't remember anything after that, just waking up after the surgery. But these people wanted him to fight for them. He had decided to do it. After all, he remembered nothing, so he had no where else to go, no friends to return to. Oddly enough, however, he remembered a crimson coloured suit, and a man named Wind.

gravityforce ezOP (11/17/00 11:19 pm) Reply	Mission 8: A New Threat With the Black Fang of no more, many joined the OZ and the rebels to fight for what the believed in. But there were those unsure in OZ and felt that they didn't belong. And there were also those of the Black Fang who believed with neither of the factions. With the help of those loners, the insecure OZ soldiers were freed from the organization's grasp. Together they formed what they truly believed in, Neo-OZ. It was a secret designed to surprise the rebels and OZ, but they caught on. With the interplanetary systems threatened again by another force, the world may turn into chaos. The leader of this new organization, Neo-OZ was still unknown (sign up for leader of Neo-OZ, those who were in Black Fang, transfer to another faction). However, they posed a huge threat, with a large force of mobile dolls. Unlike their precessor, they did not rely largely on the limited skills of the mobile dolls, but as trained pilots with capabilites well beyond that of the mobile dolls. This deadly combination of perfect soldiers and mobile dolls was what scared the rebels and OZ. As the rebels were on a mission to have peace talks with colony X-196 in L1 area. They were ambushed by OZ mobile suits, but OZ was tricked by Neo-OZ. The battle on the colony commenced between the three opposing factions. Rebels John: Let's eliminate everything our path! The Double Zero was fighting valiantly, the John had to turn back and worth eliminate enemies which were scattered in large masses all over the place. It was even difficult to tell who was ally or enemy. OZ Tom: Girin, we're going to have to use the planet defensors for this mission. Girin: As I shoot, right? Standard tactical procedures... The Mercurius had its planet defensors surround the Vayeate and the Vayeate continuely fired its beam cannon, eliminating many, as the Mercurius at the same time, took out or stunned others with high energy discharges. The altron flies at them fireing it's beam cannon destroying 3 of them. Then the arms fling out and grab two more virgo's as the dragon fangs grab onto their heads. Fire erupts from the dragon fang destroying the 2 virgo's grabbed and 3 mobile suits behind each of them! "Heh, that was easy, they must be holding back! Johan, these dolls seem to easy! They must be hideing a new modle." The altron reached to it's left side and pulled out a beam saber like handle which extended into a green thermal energy weapon. When examined closely, it was identified as the the fierce gundam Epyon, currently in bird mode, flashing past colonies. It had been almost a month since the battle between the Black Fang, and Oz, and the dispersal of the BF's force. After the battle, Raziel had returned to the shadows of space, leaving behind his cheering fellow rebel pilots, for the coldness of space. A day earlier, Raziel had been catching a bite in the nearest colony diner, when a strange group of people approached him. Drake could tell instantly by the way the approaching men walked, that they were pilots, except for one who seemed like a wannabee executive. " Excuse me, Wind? Were representatives from a rogue faction, Neo-Oz," the lead man said. " Your point? What do you want?" " Were hear to ask for your services to lead us." " Hmm, realy. Well the way the rebels are handling things sicken me. What is in it for me" Raziel asked gruffly. " The chance to change history, free the colonies, and bring peace to space," " So basicaly the same hubbaloo offered by almost every faction?" " Yes sir." Accepting, Raziel told the representatives to give him an hour to prep the Epyon. Though the suit was in shambles, Raziel climbed into the suit, activating its systems, before deciding to drop the name Raziel, and the identity behind it. Donning the namesake Wind again, Wind accelerated the Epyon out of the colony hanger bay, grim determination on his face. The Present Hundreds of manned Virgo 2's attacked the rebel forces heading for a treaty for Oz, Wind sitting back in the newly repaired Epyon.

Remember, I do not know Raziel, but I remember what "Wind" looked like, so that will give me some role playing options. Also, I am going to assume that my mobile suit is approved.) Reno sat in the cockpit of the newly constructed Gundam Asimov. It was a marvel of technology, combining limited longe range weapons with the best dueling weapons. He was on his way to a battle against OZ, the organization that had saved him. He did not remember too much about OZ, except that he had been there before, wherever OZ was. But he was prepared to fight for this Neo-OZ. Then, he clenched the stick, sweating pouring down his forehead as a crimson mobile suit moved into his view. Wind: My codename is Wind and I am the leader of this faction Neo-OZ to free the colonies from the tyranny of the Earth. John: Raziel... That's baloney, every faction is promising that. It's just idealism, Raziel... Has he turned to the dark side? I'll have to find out. In the midst of the battle, the Double Zero converted to bird mode and blasted towards the crimson suit called Epyon.

It was a Gundam, and it was magnificent. Reno admired its elegance, and the strength that it emitted. He clicked on his comm. "Command, what is that bird-like suit? It is beautiful." "Watch yourself, Commander. That is the Double Zero, a rebel Gundam. It is the enemy." Reno starred in confusion. "The...enemy? Well, if you say so." As soon as I could get to you!!! the altron reaches to it's left side with the right arm and pulls out a twin beam trident. Three beam blades shoot out of each end forming the twin beam trident. Peter: John, you go get raziel, just remember, i want to finish him! I will take care of these dolls!!! The altrons beam cannon appears over it's head and shoots a few particle beams from each barrel blasting through 3 mobile dolls. Peter: These virgo II's are no competition! The altron firies it vulcans drawing the attention of a group of virgo's as they turn around and put up their blanet defensors. Peter: DAMN! Planet defensors, I can take them down though!

He saw an unfamiliar white suit holding a beam saber. It was somewhat bulky, but looked very powerful. The two suits dueledfor several minutes, their piloting capabilities matched. Then, Reno clicked on his comm. "Rebel, Gundam Pilot, surrender, or perish." John's eyes widened as he recognised the voice of a dead man. Raziel's did as well as he picked up the transmission. "RENO?!"

The altron flies to where the asimov is. 10 minutes later, it appears infront of it. Peter: Hey, Reno, Like me new suit! Reno: Heh, not an improvemnet, i rather think the other one was better for you! Anyway, you will get destroyed! Peter: You sure about that! The altron brough the beam trident down on the asimov but was swiftly doged as a beam saber was put by the head of the altron. Unsuspectingly, the beam cannos rushed up and fired a blast makeing the asimov fly up and then bring down the beam saber but was blocked by the twin beam trident of the altron! Raziel Drake Registered User (12/4/00 1:52 pm) Reply	Prelude ( One, the Neo-Oz virgos aren't dolls, and Reno does not have his memory. Some of you are acting like newbies.) The Epyon streaked around towards the 00, beam sword drawn, and ignited into a fury of green. Sparks flew as the incoming beamsword was deflected by the 00's own beamsword, John firing off the suits soulder cannons. To his surprise, John watched as the artillery pounded into the Epyons chest, as if Raziel was purposely bombing, raiseing suspicion in Johns quickly calculating mind. John watched as the Epyon's speed seemed cut down a fraction, for the first time noticing componets missing out of the Epyons main verniers, landing an easy grazing beam saber blow, across the Epyons right shoulder. John: Peter, where did Raziel leave the 01's remains after the conflict with Oz and the BF? Peter: Apparently on L1, why? John: Contact the colony to see if its there, I think Raziel has somthing up his sleeve. Peter: Got it. Two Minutes Later Peter: John, they say the remains have dissapeared. John: All of it? Peter: Yep, every gundanium scrap, and fuse. John: Damn, all rebels back off now, I think Neo-Oz has something up its sleeve. ( This is a prelude to something, hehehe, sorry bad cackle.)

Reno dodged and parried every attack by the Altron, perfectly matching his opponent's moves. He did not know where this skill came from, but was amazed by it. He was also confused by his opponent's taunts, not understanding how he knew him. "Tell me your name. How is it that you know me?" "Do not play the slippery eel with me, Reno. I know of your trechery. Do not think you will lull me into a false sense of security." As the beam trident came down, Reno locked the blades together, and pulled out another beam saber, igniting it, and thrusting it deep into the left arm of the Altron. Peter backed his suit away, his pride wounded. "Please, tell me who I am." This, is the place Sit down, you're safe, now You've been stuck, in a lift We've been trying, to reach...you...Thom

"Your name is Reno Victor, you were a member of OZ. You used a mobile suit called the aqualung. You and me were rivals, and still are! We had a battle in space, and i won, i think that is when you lost your memory, And now, you are here!" Reno let go of the controls and just sat in his mobile suit looking down trying to remember. "Reno, do you have the zero system in that suit of yours!" Peter waited but got no response as reno was trying to get his memory back. Two black beam sabers are ignited and as the suit comes closer to the gundams in the center. The sabers rip through Virgos as it flies by. The suit stops as it nears the gundams 00, Asimov, Leopard, and Altron Alex- I have come to once again serve the Rebels in their cause. I will provide assistance if you may need any. The suit named Armaggedon looks on as the gundams pilots try to force Reno's memory back. [ooc: it's been a while since i have posted, but i'll try and by more active now. I'm back!]
