I'd like to add my thoughts if I may. I actually really like the community. I got attached quite quickly. I haven't posted much in the last few weeks, however, as I've been very busy. Sorry! I intend to become more regular.
I think most agree it's a bad idea to move to another community like g.com. We totally lose the essence of what this place is if we do something like that. So now it's a matter of waying the pros and cons between free board and private server.
I have my www.c-s-p.ca and I have hosting. I intend to make forum there for myself. Maybe I could make a forum there for this place too? Not integrated with mine. Completely indepenent. Like a sub-domain or just another forum on the site or something. Called Guitar Clinic 101 or something.
I need to upgrade my hosting, however. But I am friends who my provider and he gives me dirt cheap deals.
I dunno if that's an option but if I can help out we can talk about it.
But I am pretty sure that if we move over to some pre-existing board like g.com I am out like Ax and the rest. If we move over to some other board-site and it's a forum just for us like this place is now, however, I'll follow. :P

So, what's up? I agree, EzBoard has now become as worthless as an inbred midget, so it's definitely time to move. As has already become apparent, relocating to the ass end of the internet like g.com or a little club like CJ wouldn't be very wise. Besides, moving it back to g.com would make me extremely beligerant. I don't suffer fools gladly, and that toilet is infested with them. I'd end up going off on people for being stupid like I tend to do on the John Petrucci forum.
So...we'll be starting over. Ack, I hope the transition is smooth and the layout isn't to jarring. I've become really comfortable with this place. Oh well. We'll see what we can see.
