My wife love's my new diet because she doesn't have to cook anymore......I eat healthy and do all my cooking and she eat's hot pockets and weight watchers frozen dinners You know, all the stuff I used to eat

You are doing great so far and its just the begining. Glad your wife is enjoying her cook free life. We have to get her off the Hot Pocket crap, since you are starting to become Emril Lagasse you can start cooking for her too, how nice of a hubby would you be then. Probably pay off in MANY ways :O

I agree with LA Just post whatever comes to your mind and be honest As LA says we might give you hard time sometimes but in a nice way Your last post was primo...so you are doing just great buddy Even if you post only 1-2x per week it will be ok...we all have life and it can get rather hectic and there is no time or energy to post everyday..no big deal

OK.....I'll post somethin as I feel it....
My wife is having a study group tonight for a lot of the girls in her class. Well, they all decided to order pizza and NOW I really am craving some pizza!
BUT, instead, I sit here with a small lettuce, green pepper and onion salad with just a hint of Basalmic vinegar and a water... Something to kill the grumble in the belly.....
I see results already so I'm not gonna screw it up by putting pizza in my engine!

Good on you Hang in there...even thou I must agree..smell of Pizza can drive you to commit crimes if you can't lay hands on it All I can say is SUCK IT IN It will be worth it

I didn't run it by you because I didn't have the time......It was either eat a piece of that Juicy, cheesy, Pepperoni pizza or get somethin else quick!
I figured a small lettuce salad wouldn't hurt too bad.......it wasn't much but it got rid of the pizza crave.

Well i just got the week one stats from Mike, he is down 4+lbs this week! Since he has been following the info on the board he is down over 14lbs!! Way to go Mike, great start!
I finally sat down with the wife and told her how important it was for me to get some free weights.......she said get it if you need it........I just ordered my new Olympic bench and a bar and weight set.

Hey Mike, I had to laugh reading about your fitness equipment and no place to put it.....I bid on a life fitness stepper on ebay around 6 weeks back and won the auction.....didn't think of asking the dimensions of the darn thing.
We had to drive 200 miles to collect it, hire a huge van and when I got it home it wouldn't fit through any door! My better half was sooooo angry, he had to take it apart and reconstruct it once in the house piecemeal!!!

Dumbbell station
NOW a big Olympic bench
And a Rack full of weights
Along with all the tools and workbenches it's gettin tight.....

body fat
Just wondering if most of you have a Body Fat scale of some kind?
I bought one when I won the online training. The thing I can't figure out is why my body fat is ALways different.
I've been measuring in the morning when I wake up.....Same time each time.....But it never is the same. This morning it was 2% higher than yesterday????
This really pisses me off.....I worked out Mega hard yesterday and today I'm fatter!

Don't worry....those scales are sooo inconsistent. Weigh yourself only once a week at the same time. These scales don't measure accurately and if you are retaining a little bit of water one day or if you are a little dehydrated another it will throw the numbers off. We use the calipers as a measure of fat loss--they are much more accurate

LOL we had this electric impendance body fat monitor with electrodes attached to your fingers and toes. It would meassure electric currents through your body, separating,water, muscle and fat...those things were so tempremental it was no funy One day I tested myself from 5 am till 18 pm and it varied by 10% up or down..I could be 11 or 21 % huge difference..that could screw your mind if you were getting ready for the comp As LA say ...the calipers done by the same person is way to go
I woke up and weighed 174.7lbs. this morning at about 8a.m., Then I had my regular oats with some cinamon added and at 10a.m I weighed 178.6lbs.?
I guess I should just work out and eat right and worry about the scale once a week.......I feel like my wife now, she always weighs and then freaks out when it didn't go down or it goes UP.....
