Re: Hello & Welcome!!!!!!!!!
Hey, macs, Thanks for stopping by. Hope you will find time to stop by and post from time to time :)
Daydreamer, it's great to see you here. I know what you mean about the "time" thing, but you never know. If you have any questions on how to do something in crafting, fixing things up at the ole homestead or just whatever, just ask. If I don't have an answer, I'll find one. Hope you come to visit as often as time allows. It's really good to see another new post, it's kinda slow in here :lol , but that's okay, I just got this thing started. Hopefully in time I can persuade more crafters to join in. In the meantime, I gotta figure out how to make this place more interesting....... :lol

My little girl died at Unm hospital, but i don't hold it against the rest of the state..:0) its my desire to someday move back there. Now i am in ohio..

James 5: 7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 9Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!

Re: Hello & Welcome!!!!!!!!!
Oh, Peacemaker, I am soooooooo sorry to hear you lost a child. :( To tell you the truth, I don't really trust doctors anymore. I rarely go to see one and that is only for antibiotics that I know I need. I have pretty much put my health in GOd's hands, but if I had a sick child I would have to seek medical help and that's getting scary. I've lived too many years and seen too many things. I lost my mother due to a doctor's incompetence, but her autopsy report covered it all up! My eldest step son (one of those people that are just plain delightful to be around) was checked into San Juan Reg. in Farmington, NM and passed away at 30 years of age. That hospital has lost a lot of patients.

On the brighter side I am very glad you came to say hi and hope you will stop by from time to time. If you know any crafters, send 'em my way, K?
God BLess you!!!!!!!!

Hi Sharon. So glad to have you come visit and look forward to seeing more of you.
As you can see, I haven't gotten a lot of crafter here yet ( working on it), but we still have a lot of fun :lol
Eventually I hope to have a lot of "crafting" going on here. :lol Have a great day. And please share what types of crafting you like the most.

Re: Hello & Welcome!!!!!!!!!
Hello Sandy. I have been trying to come up with ideas to get traffic to my board also. I came up with one the other day. You will probably have better luck with it than me since your computer skills are better(grrr) just kidding with the growl.
Anyway, I went to www.geocities.com where you can build a web page for free. They have a few pop up adds but not many, and you can choose the type of adds you will allow.I have started one, and it looks pretty good so far. If you make one with a crafters theme, you might do pretty good. It allows you to put links up, so you could put a link up to here, and who knows what will happen. Talk to you later.

Tom(still no picture for my posts......yet)

Re: Hello & Welcome!!!!!!!!!
Thomas I already started one at geocities....lol. But i've either been busy at the boards or have other work to do and haven't finished it (it's not published yet) I'm not so pc skillful :lol just a very curious person who is fascinated with all the neat stuff on the net. I have to admit, I thhink I spend a little too much time with my pc. But I get my work done and never leave hubby alone to play with my pc :lol afterall it is winter and when the weather warms a bit, I'll be outside working my fingers to the bone. :)

Re: Hello & Welcome!!!!!!!!!
OOOOOOOOOOO, neat, flag maker. I'm so glad you dropped by. It's good to have another newby here. I am going to your site after I post here and will probably visit your friend Tom too. Oh, goody, goody, maybe I have been led to someone that can help me make a better looking site.
Oh, and macs if you come by.......yeppers I plant a veggie garden every year......to have fresh veggies and I freeze or can too for the winter. At least I know what is in/on my veggies ...... :lol I also plant and expand all around the house. We live on ten acres and there are a lot of places that need work.....but bit by bit it's really coming along. For years we have been working on wind break shade, ect. and have acheived a lot thanks to people who let me dig up their yard....... :lol ....naw, I didn't really dig up anyone's yard, just what they told me too... :lol I'm glad the major tree digging took place years ago.....ugh...I'm not sure I'm up to the kind of stuff we did when we moved out here.
By the way anyone know of a good ground cover for a root cellar. I never seem to get around to it because it seems like I would have to put out some bucks to get weed barrier, netting or whatever to keep seed from eroding to the bottom. Need to find a good ground cover that needs little water after it gets established.
