Re: Ambushed!
::The vampire then unleashed a powerful force spared from Death, where he then pushed Sonia away thrusting his arms out, and knocks her out towards the 'Safe Room's door, and hitting Alucard in the face with his mighty claws laughing at how they are attempting to get him ever so easy, and as he tries to get away from the torture on his mind letting him to do the most harm he can do possibly at the time.::

::He looked at Alucard where he laughed at how close it could have been the vampire's death, but thinks that he can defeat his foes very easily. His arm was extended, grabbing him from his collar, ready to take his feast that he hasn't taken in ages, but has only been venturing around the large Demon Castle, successing on what he has always wanted: flesh...::

*mist*
A heavy mist came down on the battle. There was something odd about it. It was heavy, yes, but it seemed to be thinking, pulsating. It began to gather in a thick mass around Sonia's body. Slowly, she began to rise from the ground. Almost like a ghost, her body looked lifeless as it floated in the air.

She rose one foot, two feet, then nearly seven feet into the sky. Her arms and legs hung down, almost as if she were being held. The mist formed a tall column from the ground to her.

She stopped rising at about twenty feet, and then, the mist separated from the ground and rose up in a large mass beneath Sonia.

Slowly, it took its shape. Soon, a pair of legs were visible, then a body, arms and a head. It was a man. The figure then began to grow solid. Its vaporous form now flesh and blood. He was wearing a dark coat. He was dressed like a nobleman. It was Dracula.

Dracula looked down to where the battle had taken place. He held Sonia in his arms, but paid her no heed. He was looking down at his son.

"My son, Alucard," he spoke in an echoing voice. "Should you survive this encounter," he spoke not only aloud, but sending the message echoing through Alucard's mind. "You shall follow the blood stained path to your beloved, that is, if you wish to see her a human on your next encounter."

Dracula gave a reverberating laugh as his body once again faded into the mist, this time taking Sonia with him.

Alright, sorry for the lack of posting lately, but things have gotten mucho busy, but we're trying to keep things underway. It's rather apparent now that the random vampire is everyone's bitch, so, if you want, roleplay the hell out of him. Gotta get back to the RP before Clara yells at me again and-
Clara: HEY!
Oo;; Gotta go!

*****

"FATHER!" Alucard yelled, running to the window, ignoring the vampire preparing for yet another attack. He attempted to turn into a bat and go after his father, but in mid-metamorphosis, the vampire lashed at him, striking him back into normal human/dhampire form. He grunted and spun around, slashing at the nosferatu, hoping to slow it, or even drive it away, but it was being a persistent little bastard. "Sonia... no..." His mind said, but he wasn't about to let that get him killed. He slashed at it, hitting the undead beast square in the thigh, driving it some ways back, hoping to heal. He quickly turned into a bat, and promptly went out the window, hoping it would not follow him, as he tried to follow his father...

Castle Keep
Sonia had been stripped of her weapons. Where they lay now, only Dracula knew. As for sonia herself, she lay within a large silver coffin. The inside was lined with red velvet. It was conmfortable to an eerie extent.

The outside was decorated with ornate roses who's thorns dripped blood. The likeness of a bat and wolf were also to be seen on the intricate engraving of the coffin.

The coffin lay unlocked within the Clock Tower in a concealed chamber. Two Hell Knights guarded the door on either side. Above on the rafters, the screeches of bats could be heard. The room itself was simply decorated. A blood red velvet carpet in the center with red drapes. A large barred window on the far wall overlooked the entire castle. The view was an enchanting one if the term could be applied. Far beyond the castle grounds, the forest and even the lake could be seen.

Re: Castle Keep
Sonia groaned, waking up. She gasped when she found she was in a coffin, and struggled to push the heavy lid off. She immediately got out, and looked around. The room was heavily guarded, and the only window in the room was barred.

Sonia didn't see her weapons anywhere. She didn't remember anything except getting thrown about by that vampire, then everything went black.

She ran to the window and tugged on the bars. Nothing. She ran around the room, trying to find some sort of way out, yet to no avail. She even tried to jump up to the rafters, but the walls were too steep.

Sonia knelt next to the coffin she woke up in, and looked up. Although she knew it wouldn't do any good, she shouted Alucard's name a few times, then shut up, and buried her face in her hands, sobbing. She was going to die, she knew it.

The rescue attempt
Alucard was going straight for the castle keep. 'I must put a stop to this, once and for all... I shan't waste my time on all my father's minions...' he thought to himself, aimed straight for the ever so common place for the final showdown, his father's room in the keep. Behind him, he saw what many Belmont hunters would see before facing the king of vampires. The clocktower in the background, mountain peaks stretching along, and roads through the carpathians. A beautiful lake, sparkling in the moonlight, and of course, the ever so cliche full moon to top it off. He landed at the staircase, and turned back to his usual self. He looked around and saw a bat coming from where he had just come from. He was indeed being followed by the vampire. Something in him urged him to go to the clock tower, but part of him thought it over and over, thinking it a trap, so he stayed put to dispatch the vampire, and go on and defeat his father, to rescue his love, if she truly lie in his quarters. He would not let his father destroy her. He would not let him turn her...

Re: The rescue attempt
Sonia heard a screech in the distance, and knew it was Alucard in bat form. She ran to the door and pounded on it. She knew he was coming for her. She KNEW IT!!!!

"Alucard?! ALUCARD!!!! ALUCARD I'M IN THE TOWER!!!!" she shouted as loud as she could. Her guards grumbled incoherently, but didn't do anything.

Sonia kept pounding on the door, "Alucard, HELP!!!!" she shouted.

Re: The rescue attempt
if it were not for his vampiric senses, Alucard would not have heard the cries and shouts of Sonia from the clock tower. He looked into the dining hall that resided just before the room where he would no doubt find his father. The vampire that had been following him landed on a wall, and resumed his humanoid shape, and climbed down the side of it at frightening speeds. Alucard would have to fight him before he could go after Sonia. Then Dracula would be his target. He slashed at the creature, it's glowing red eyes burning into his for a split second, as it let out a slight cackle, and Alucard then realized he had just cut at thin air, a small cloud of mist surrounded him, and solidified behind him, as he felt the claws of the blood-thirsty creature rake his back, and tear his cape. He reached up, and unlached it, letting it drop to the red carpeted ground, leaping up in the air only to meet the creatures downward blow. Blood streaked his face and back, as he felt icy claws of the things feel dig into his side. 'I should've eaten... I should've taken better care of myself... nae... of... Sonia...' He thought as his vision blurred a little. He looked at the creature that loomed over him, ready to deal a finishing blow to his head, with no pity in its eyes, or face. He looked death in the face then in many ways, and as the claws decended, he reached up, a small dagger in hand, and caught the creature by the throat, with one claw still twiching against his chest, and the other, lightly cutting his face. He tried to rise, but realised the full weight of the thing was on his leg. Upon closer inspection, it was actually staking him to the ground, through the leg with one foot, and he looked up, the blank expression on its face neither mortifying, or even slightly frightening, even to a small child. And all of a sudden, as of a miracle, Alucard's strength returned somewhat, and there was a break in the clouds, letting a lone ray of sun drift down upon the castle, and over all parts, save a few, such as his fathers quarters, and the entrance hallway. It was then that he knew what it was that he must do, step by step, whether it meant his death or not. He pushed the thing off of him, drove the dagger through it's heart, and severed it's head in the traditional way to slay a vampire. He rose, and descended the steps, not in condition to fly, so he would fight his way to the clock tower as fast as possible, leaving a crimson trail behind him all the way. 'I shalt save her... even if it means the death of me...'

Castle Keep
Dracula stood at the altar, the doorway to Sonia's prison was hidden behind one of the red velvet draperies, but it was unnecessary. He knew, Alucard would know. He would settle his quarrels today, life or death, it would not matter from here.

In death, he would be reunited with his beloved, in life, he should take over this land and bring the shadow of evil above all that lives.

Yes, he thought to himself. Either way, it goes

Imprisoned
Sonia backed up a few steps then ran at the door full force, slamming her shoulder into it, with no avail. She guessed it was probably made of bloodwood, from one of the many demonic trees in the castle's garden.

Nevertheless, she backed up a little further this time, to the coffin she woke up in, and ran again, slamming herself even harder against the door. No use...

Finally, Sonia gave up and slunked to the ground, breathing heavily. What would Dracula do with her, she wondered? Was Alucard on his way to help her? Was Alucard even alive?

Re: Re: Re: Rescue Attempt thingy... Yeah...
Okie, sorry folks. Mucho mucho busy these past few months. Not to mention EZBoards hates me as much as I hate pistacios... And mark my word, I WILL destroy all pistacio trees... or wherever they come from... evil evil nut type thingies... Well, back to the RP.

Alucard ran through the halls. He used whatever magic he had left to tend to his wounds, every now and then letting his vampiric side come across whenever the enemies had the appropriate... contents. Slashing through harpies and madusa heads, and other such nuisances (which were rather successful in making him lose his cool after putting him to the ground enough times), he reached an area which triggered something inside of him that made all his senses go up in alarm. 'Switches... switches... Where dost they hide?!' he thought to himself. He remembered a secret entrance triggered by certain gears in the clock tower. He searched frantically about, spinning immoble gears and such. And after what seemed like ages, like magic, a metal grating lifted, and a hole in the wall appeared...

Re: Re: Re: Rescue Attempt thingy... Yeah...
Sonia sighed, and looked up. The rafters were at least twenty feet up, and all of her attempts to jump up and grab them had failed, even as she tried to pry bricks out to use as steps.

She then looked over to the coffin that she had awoken in. It was about eight feet long. And she also saw that it wasn't bolted to the floor. She narrowed her eyes, thinking something.

Walking over to the coffin, Sonia gave it a push. It easily slid over the floor. Arching an eyebrow, Sonia pulled it over to the wall, and with little effort with her strength, managed to lift one end, and prop it against the wall. She then used the lid as an anchor so it didn't slide, and jumped to the top of the coffin.

'Yes...' Sonia thought. She jumped, catching hold of a rafter. Pulling herself up, Sonia climbed up the rafters, occasionally swatting away the occasional bat or two.

Upon reaching the top, Sonia cursed creatively, seeing that it was a dead end. Suddenly, she heard machines whirring, and she looked to her left, seeing what looked like a hidden passage open. Sonia's eyes widened as she saw the figure standing in the opening.

"Alucard!!!" Sonia shouted, jumping across what rafters there were and over to him, jumping from the last and landing in front of him, embracing him tightly.

A man with dark brown hair and a black coat walks towards the embraced couple but then suddenly stops "Looks like you have found each other...oh how rude of me not to introduce my self, my name is Aalart Raimont Verbueten..." he gently says then bows but then looks up smirking "No need to tell me yours...for I know..." he then takes out his black scabbard and unsheathed his blood stained sword and holds in on his shoulders.

Finally. A friggin encounter!
Alucard glared at 'Aalart' with untrusting eyes, and brushed Sonia a little ways to the side. He layed his hand on his sword hilt, and shifted into a defensive position. "What do you here? Another one of my father's pawns?" He almost wanted to break a smile at the man, knowing that all his father could offer him were lies and pain, but refrained, trying to remain as Alucard-y as possible (ie, emotionless, cold, battle hardened, whatever...). He glanced at Sonia, giving a signal for her to get behind him, and unsheathed his sword, prepared for either answers, or attack...

Dammit... why don't Alucard and I have any time together? Sonia thought, letting out an exasperated sigh. She moved back, and leapt back onto one of the rafters in the room she had come from.

"Don't hurt yourself..." she murmured.

Alright. A notice for all of ya. I'm taking over drac, cause Dark Link infinite is a little... aprehended. So, I'm both Drac and Alucard. So I'll say which one I'm being right before the post now. Don't worry, we'll have plans as to how this'll work

Alucard

Alucard charged, but rather than going at Aalart with his sword, he started to change... He turned white, bright white. Cloack and all. And the mass that was Alucard continued on, but it's shape turned more and more into that of a very large wolf. And a very large wolf he was. He charged at him with all his might, and plowed right into him, putting his full force to the vampire's gut, knocking him down. Alucard returned to human form, and drew his sword, jabbing a few times, and backed up, pulling his shield from his back, and holding his sword, drawn out behind him, ready for the vampire's return attack.

Re: Finally. A friggin encounter!
"Good tis now my tur..." he was cut from his words then fell to the ground cringing somewhat scared but then suddenly black wings shoot out from Aalart's back covered in blood still on the ground he then pushes himself up then looks up at Alucard then smiled "Now it's my turn..." his wings flap up helping Aarlart to the ground, when his feet touch the ground he charges straight at Alucard with his wings stiff in back of him wen enclosing on his opponent the wings slam togeather on Alucard then his right arm and wing come back but snaps back unto his enemy slamming him into the wall.

Re: Finally. A friggin encounter!
Alucard

Alucard's senses blurred, and he suddenly realized what happened. He gazed in shock at the wings that seemed to appear from nowhere. He picked up his sword, and sheathed it, letting out a yell, and in seconds, where Alucard stood there was a bat, with wings like a bird ((yes, in the game, his wings are bird wings, not bat wings when he's a bat. And when he uses double jump, his cape forms a pair of bird wings too. Kinda cool if ya ask me.)). The creature hovered in place shortly, and then flew at the man at incredible speeds, knocking him over. Alucard got a good blow to his chest, but his head hurt like he just landed on his head from a drop from the clock tower to the ground. He realized that as always, instinct took him back to human form. He decided that magic would win him this battle. Yet before he could get in the next attack, Aalart took the opporitunity...

Dracula

The King of Vampires watched the battle closely. He was deeply amused by the happenings, but somewhere deep down, the part of him that fought humans because of what they did to Lisa, down in that part of his mind and heart, he was rooting for Alucard. Yet, of course, nothing at all good ever went through his mind without coming out twisted. He wished he could be with Alucard as father and son in that inkling of goodness in him, but in that thought, he devised a plan. His son would be with him, and would be fighting humans by Dracula's word, if what he had in store carried through. 'If only that blasted woman weren't around... I already swore that she would pay... or her children, and her children's children... Belmont... Such disgusting, fundamentally idiotic creatures these Belmonts are.' he thought to himself and other such musings. Some of which involved the thought of thier slow, painful deaths. "So Aalart is doing as planned. I still do not trust him." Dracula said. He turned to the grim reaper. Loyal, Trustworthy, and best of all, Deadly. "I want you to keep a close eye on him. For, after he disposes of the human, and brings my son to me, he really has no use to me, and, speaking from a point of view that's familiar with his situation, I have no use to him." he sipped at some blood in a wine glass. "You brought him to me, so he is your responsibility. Failure to keep the youngling in check is not an option. Go, watch over the battle. Make sure Alucard is still in one piece by the time he is made unconcious." The only thing seperating him from that battle was a few feet of brick. He could end it easily... 'but this is just so much more amusing' he thought to himself.

Re: Finally. A friggin encounter!
"Master, Aalart is under your command, he is a vampire! So, best that I take this on my on grasps and help defeat Adrian within this battle, only then you can take command for Aalart to take his hands on the Belmont."

He quickly flew off from Dracula's lair, and swooped down more nimble than any fiend yet. He made a sneak attack right behind Alucard where he drove his mighty scythe right through his stomach. He took pleasure as he saw the blood gushing, recognizing the fast stab he has given, for it wouldn't cause any deep gashes for him to die to please the master. He placed his right hand on top of his left pulling with his both hands throwing his scythe to the other side from the air like as if it were an inverted swing. He pushed with force making Alucard unconscious watching him ailing with pain. Only then, did Death release his scythe off the demi-vampire's stomach. The scythe went back in place holding it with his right hand to the back of his neck.

He let out his left hand in a friendly like gesture to Aalart and having that evil grin on his face. "Hahahahah....now you can take care of the Belmont, go and let no harm no more to Alucard, for part of your deed has been done. Remember, you are stronger than any man, and no man shall ever emerge victorious. Now go!"
