I agree Melissa, In my life I have met a great many men who are submissive sexually and yearn to be dominated, and generally, who just always comply with their mothers, sisters, wives, etc.
I understand why so many women got caught up in all this Gorean nonsense. It was because they so wanted the notion of male domination to be true.
Submissive women have a very hard time having their needs met because most men are anything but dominant.
And the few who do have dominant tendencies, usually fall in love and want to raise a family with their women.
They do not want to treat them like animals, and have them crawling on their knees, too terrified to ever express themselves.
I also agree that Gor is virtually gone. The Jagged Dagger bit the dust recently.
We did a good job, lighting one small candle in the darkness, but enough people saw the light.
We have established that Gor has nothing to do with natural order. Now let’s move on to one of their other favourite subjects. Honour.
Well Dunstan, you’ve just told us that in order to see honour we would need understand it. How about explaining that most mysterious of concepts to us? Gorean Honour. I must admit I find it a most illusory notion.

I see your sense of Gorean honour is still very much in tact, it is about as honourable as your word, that is to say neither has any value whatsoever.
I have asked any Gorean, including yourself, to explain to me what is good, natural or honourable in Gor, again, there is a specific forum for it, it for the most part is empty, just as Gorean honour is.
What few examples that were put forth there were easily proven incorrect and invalid, again, just as Gor is.
As an aside, concerning the personals, I did notice that Family Circus in my city newspaper is located on said pages.
Further you were not trying to be humourous at all Dunstan, you were showing us all what Gorean honour means to you, and that is if you have nothing to say, come here throw a few insults around then run away claiming that you will never post here again. I simply shot you down, again. I sincerely doubt that you do not read the funny pages, In fact I am calling you a liar, I also am quite certain that "better" Goreans than yourself enjoy reading the age old and time honoured classics such as Peanuts.
As I said your honour is worth as much as your word, afterall in Gor they are one and the same, and in your case dear child they combined with $4.25 will get you a cup of coffee.

If you had even bothered to LOOK at the info I posted, you would have noticed it was a "Yahoo" Nickname and address... NOTHING personal at all... "A-nonny-mus", and was probably either YOU or Minxie anyway... however YOU saw to use that as a means to make it LOOK as if it was personal...

Xsha tell was quite correct to remove an email that you posted without permission. It was certainly a dishonourable thing to do. It opened the person to the Spam that we are all bothered with, and to the specious hate mail and attempted virus attacks that *honourable* Goreans have a tendency to use against anyone who speaks out against their vile opinions.
Opinions like that recently posted on the Gorean Public Boards. *Why shouldn’t the strong take from the weak?* Really you all should hang your head in shame as the disgust of all decent people follows you all your days.

Ya that's what I thought, the gorean silence is deafening.
Back where it belongs.
On these forums it has been established that Gor is nothing to do with all the worthy things that are espoused by its devotees.
All debates concerning honour, natural order, healthy living, although much muddied by irrelevances and childish insults, have been shown to be erroneous.
Gor is definitely back were in belongs, as a fringe activity of the BDSM world.
The proliferation of nazi spewings, with cult like hooks, trapping weak men and submissive women has ended.
There is only one venue left that still attempts to use sadistic fiction as a basis for right wing philosophical debate.
And at this forum the same half dozen people post over and over again, expounding their prejudices to each other.
It is heartening to know that despite using sex as a guise, most people have abandoned these misguided people, leaving them as isolated as they should be in any free and decent society.
I believe that forums like this have certainly helped. This has been the only place where any real debate has been uncensored and free, and where the real issues have been steadfastly returned to despite attempts for it to spiral away into nonsense.
However, even if debate about the real nature of some who call themselves Gorean had been silenced in every venue, I still hope and believe their neo nazi ravings would have died.
Most people, (and especially those on the fringe of alternate sexual lifestyles,) are too decent to want their name linked with fascist ideology.
