yeah we looking for new talent. I stress though, we do stuff professionally and not one of those "throw a group of people together and call it a label" type deals. Right now we testing digital music production via internet and seeing how that works out etc.. So far it's been good with diverse talent all around the U.S. and parts of the world including Australia and europe. Also got world wide distribution and manifacturing on our own with partial help from Jive Records. Anyways the offline business of Shotup is different from online.
But yeah good mic and got to be 18+ to be signed to a record deal, and any age to be featured as a promotion artist.
And which way would I be looking for new talent at?
Right now I'm looking for:
Black female singers/rappers
Black male rappers/singers
any producers/beat producers/engineers
A new music thing to hit the market and we plan to be the first "Gangsta Pop".. don't ask.. thought it would sell because shit would be funny to hear a britney spears look-alike to be snappi'n at bsb and britney etc.. sort of like Nate Dogg of the pop world..
Also I ain't really looki'n fo white performers.. Although the first good white female rapper will definently get signed, I ain't really lookin' fo white male rappers.. Why? Cuz I already have a group of 4 of them, and 3 others including on the verge of signing one more..
