Hey there,
I take creatine everyday!! and I love it. It gives me energy and aids in muscle recovery. It's not going to make you huge like the guys but will definately help your perfomance in the gym. The only time I stop taking it occurs about 1-2 weeks prior to my shows--because it does attract extra fluid into the muscle cell.

Re: can females take creatine?
I swear by creatine...I was always scared to try it because i was lead to believe girls CAN'T take it and you will get big mucles -- I WISH NOW heheheh..Creatine is naturally in meats, but some of it is destroyed in the prep. process (cooking) therefore supplementing with it - WONT KILL YOU!!
I noticed a huge increase in my strength, energy and overall performance while on creatine! I would suggest at least giving it a try you never know what it can do for you unless you try, but like LA said I have stopped it now because I am close to a show - Can't WAIT to get back on it afterwards!
betagen
I personally love taking Betagen by EAS. It has glutamine, creatine and HMB, plus tons of vitamins. I take 2 scoops, three times a day. One in the morning and one before and after my workouts. I also supplement with more glutamine if needed or if I'm really sore.
I mix the orange flavor with my vanilla protein powder .... and you have a orange creamsicle.
Re: betagen
I used to take creatine couple of years back when preparing for bodybuilding comps..it made huge difference to my strenght I had no side effects such as water retention, but I did not do loading at the start. I just took 2 equal doses pre and post workout..worked for me that way
Re: betagen
Right now I'm using Krush from Allmax but in the past I used ISS Satur 8, and Superpump is also a great one to use. I always used the orange flavours so i could mix them in my postworkout shake. I love my creatine!! it keeps my muscles feeling full and definately helps with energy and recovery.
