Hogwarts Castle
  The Entrance Hall
A large, cavernous room with a ceiling so high it is barely visible. There is a marble staircase leading to the first floor opposite the double doors, and another leading down to the dungeons. A second set of doors leads to the Great Hall.
07/21/05 1:54 pm
  The Great Hall
The Great Hall is vast, with a ceiling that mirrors the sky above. It contains four long tables, one for each of the houses, and a staff table at the front of the room. Tall windows look out onto the lawn outside.
07/21/05 1:54 pm
  The Kitchens
Tickle the pear to gain entrance to the Hogwarts kitchens, which lie beneath the Great Hall. They are staffed by a large number of house elves, have high ceilings and large, brick fireplaces.

  The Prefects' Bathroom
The password to the Prefects' Bathroom is pine fresh. This round room contains a large marble bath surrounded by a hundred taps. On the wall is a portrait of a very giggly mermaid.

Hogwarts Grounds
  Hagrid's Hut

  King's Cross Station
"All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Don't stop and don't be scared you'll crash into it, that's very important. Best do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous. Go on, go now..."

  The Hogwarts Express
The Hogwarts Express is a train which makes a run between Kings Cross Station, London, and Hogsmeade Station near Hogwarts four times a year. It leaves without fail on September 1st at 11:00am from Platform Nine and Three Quarters, arriving at Hogsmeade in the early evening.

The Wizarding World
  Diagon Alley
Tapping just the right brick in the wall behind the Leaky Cauldron pub in London will reveal an archway which is a portal into Diagon Alley, a long cobbled street with a strange and exciting assortment of shops and restaurants, some of which have tables outside with brightly colored umbrellas.
418/31/05 6:13 pm
  Hogsmeade
The whimsical, wizarding village of Hogsmeade has traditionally been visited by third year Hogwarts students and up. The students never get tired of its diverse range of shops, and the cheerful atmosphere never fails to brighten even the most sullen spirits.

  The Burrow
The Burrow is a wizard house, owned by the Weasley family. It's at least four stories tall, built so crazily that it must certainly be held up by magic. It's located outside of the village of Ottery St. Catchpole, but so well hidden that the postman doesn't even know where it is. It has a ghoul in the attic and gnomes in the garden.
07/23/05 8:38 pm
  Spinner's End
Hidden within a deserted labyrinth of brick houses is a street called Spinner's End. A towering mill chimney overlooks the cobbled road, and houses with broken, boarded windows surround it. Severus Snape resides here, in the very last house.
