*As you unroll the scroll you notice your name penned in a flourish of black ink*

I hope this letter find you well. My time away from the Covenstead, pains my heart more then you can know. But the rest I have managed to get while gone has done my mind and body wonders. I miss the night sky that never comes to these lands. The moons hang in the sky yet never gets to be the beacon of light like they are at home. My stay at the Malas home has been enlightening in many ways. And my journeys have brought me to encounter many new people. While I know the war still rages in the home lands. This land is unscathed by such as of yet. And I have met a man that thinks that a Confederation can be found with in these lands that lessens the oppression we have faced in the home land.

In my discussions with him I have managed to negotiate a tract of land that will be the Coven's own territory. I wish not to forget our homelands of Verity Isle, for i would not give up such Magick, Love, and Friendships we have found there. But barring the wars and the ill-treatment of our kind. This territory would and will be our own. Free of toils of hypocrisy and oppression.

Although many years have passed since I first met Alaric of Torquil, he is the same as he was years past. Calm and even handed. His innovation of the Confederacy may be what I can best hope as a freedom for our Coven.
He has layed out charters and mapped the lands to a finite degree. I wish for you all to seek these charters out, for they are freely posted for you to read at the City of Outremer. A settlement that Alaric has started.

I suspect many things will have changed not only for you but for me as well upon my return. I cannot say when that will be, but know that in my heart and soul, you are what feeds my mind and urges me to return.

May the Goddess protect you and the Shadows watch over your soul
