Appearance:
Yume’s features tend to favor her grandmother when she was young, though she does seem to run short. At five foot one, Yume isn’t the tallest person alive, but she does well with the lack of height she does have. Being only one hundred and five pounds makes Yume pretty thin, though she’s thinnest around her waist. Her complexion is light and pretty free of blemish, but hell, she’d fifteen, nature’s being a nightmare. On her cheeks are bright red markings, one on each side. Brown hair falls down to her shoulders in messy layers. It’s a natural brown so it has a couple of shades of brown as well as a dark blonde. Yume’s sapphire eyes seem to have a luster that’s burns with a curiosity of what’s out there.
Clothes:
Primary colors. That seems to be the best way to describe Yume’s outfit. Yep. Primary colors. What? You want me to describe it? Fine. But you owe me big.
Yume wears a blue tee-shirt with a yellow moon and red crown on the front. Over that is a yellow vest like jacket that has a black collar, black at the ends of the sleeves and at the bottom which reaches just below her ribs. Thick red and blue bands sit on her wrist and go to about the middle of her forearm. Around her waist is a blue belt with a long silver chain attached to that. Yume’s pants are baggy and red, having large pockets around the knee area. Yume has blue and yellow shoes with thick silver soles to make her look even slightly taller.
Personality:
Yume despite many things about her, is actually pretty normal. She’s a bundle of emotions, her mood changing on a dime. She’s talkative, sarcastic and tends to get embarrassed very easily. Yume likes to get her way, and if she doesn’t, she fixes it. She’d head-strong and competitive to defiantly say the least. Yume has a strong sense of justice, not really being able to leave something she sees wrong alone. She’s outgoing, and determined to live out her dreams, whatever they may be. Yume is actually smart for her age, being able to memorize name and dates easily. Yume is sometimes hard tog et along with, but once she sees you as a buddy, your friends for life. She loves art more than almost anything. She loves to sing, draw, write and sometimes act, though she can get overdramatic at times. Thanks to her friend Akira, she’s starting to become a manga and video game fan.
Weapon:
Yume’s weapon is an old training rod she gained not to long ago. It’s used to train one for a lightweight sword, but Yume thinks of it as a weapon in its own right. Its about three feet long and can be extended another foot at will. In diameter it’s about half an inch to and inch wide. Red in color, the rod as two yellow rings printed on each end. Tied at each end is a short, thin red ribbon that carries a small charm on each one. The right holding a silver crown and the having a black moon. The rod has no magical attributes so it could be considered weak against magic type attacks. It isn’t used to cast magic or anything, though its great for physical attacks and defending.
Special Abilities:
Yume is a student summoner, meaning she can bring forth common items with magic. However, she is only suppose to use these summoning skills in the presence of a mentor on her travels. She also needs a summoning array to perform the magic, but soon she most likely won't have to. (so think of it as the magical version of Alchemy, without all that exact change crap!)
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Yume is only a student summoner, so she can't so much without a summoning array.
Family: Yume lived with her mother and older sister Sakura. Her father however, disappeared not long after the last war ended two years ago.
Friends: Yume’s best friends are Akira’s who a complete video game/manga fanatic. Though her name means intelligent, to tell you the truth, she’s pretty far from it.
Love Interest:
Yume's sponsor, Keo, is a fellow student from the academy and sponsored her while she took the enterance exam. Ever since then she's started to develope feelings for him.
Rival: Yume really doesn’t have a rival so nothing to put here.

History:
Yume was born and raised on the island to the north of Ocena. She lived in a small rural town with her mother, father and older sister Sakura. Her father was a long time captain in the army and a even longer time summoner. Summoning was of course the magic of brining forth items for common use. Advanced users of the magic could call upon beast to do their bidding, which consisted of battling most of the time.
Growing up, Yume always had two great friends, Akira and Daichi. The three did nearly everything together, went to school, did work and did anything a kid could do before getting grounded for a month. They were never seen apart, often they were found hanging out together after curfue, which got them in even more trouble. They were a troublesom trio, and known by everyone in town.
Whenever Yume wasn't with her friends, she was with her teacher, Ms. Koushi. She taught Yume many things that the school couldn't, like philosiphy, astronomy, and later on, summoning. Yume always wanted to be like her father, and Ms. Koushi just volenteered to teach her in the magical art.
During the years of the war with the country to the south, Yume's father was sent down into countless battles, though he always returned home without a scratch. Though when the battles disappeared, so did Yume's father. Many persummed he was dead, though some thought he was alive, mainly Yume.
Every year there was a test held in a certain number of locations to choose who would go to the Shinjetaru school for the magic of summoning. Only two were chosen from each town each year and Yume vowed she'd be one of the chosen. The test was long and hard, but Yume passed with flying colors, and was accepted into the school.
Many claimed it would take years to get skilled in summoning, though Yume aced all the classes with ease. She was soon given the choice that no other freshman had even heard of. By train, Yume would travel around learning from some of the best summoners. It was an honor for any freshman, or any student for that matter, since it was offered to only the best students. Yume loved the idea of traveling, so she said yes right away.
