 Yankees in Japan
Well you know that Yankee fans have just reached an all-time stupidness by their actions after the Yankee's lose on Opening Day... I was talking to a fire chief in a neighboring district, Middle Island to be exact,,, (YEAH RIDGE FD! w00t!) at a house fire after it was done... he had on the game on the radio and heard that they were losing 8-3 after Tino Martinez's 3 run shot... I told him that it must hurt to be him, rooting for a team that loses to Tampa Bay on opening day... his reply almost killed me, "What today is opening day? ooo crap, i didnt know that.... and why is Tino Martinez playing for Tampa Bay, whose playing first then?"
I almost felt bad for him, till i told him that the game was in Japan and he responded, "Bah who cares about Japan, not a damn good player has ever come out of that fucking nation" at which point a few other firefighters decided to tell him that the Yankee's had Godzilla on their team, which cause him to sit down and think how a 100 foot lizard could play leftfield.... if it wasnt for the fact that I had to leave i would of loved to tell him that they have to rely on a pitcher coming off of extensive arm surgery, a pitcher who hasnt pitched in a home field where more then 2 people actually come to see them, 2 all stars who are playing 30 feet away from each other and want to kill each other, a centerfielder who is older then Barry Bonds, a first baseman who's steroid usage actually has made him worst, a second baseman who couldnt even make other team's backup, and a catcher whose name says it all Jor-GAY!
