Wren
The tasmasters stepped aside, shifting out of the path of the three that approached. These warriors carried no whips, tanding taller, straighter, carrying long polearms with curved blades at the top, they wore black with dark purple slashes running through their clothing.

Their yellow eyes kept away from the slaves, chins held high, they stopped only briefly when the salvemaster ran up to them, keeping some distance and speaking in a hurried tone to the trio. Their apparent leader looked around, eyes following the pointed hand of the slavemaster. His gaze stopped on a short haired girl in some kindof jumpsuit.

His own hand came up through the air, turning palm facing the distant, shaodwed ceiling, he beckoned sharply, once for Wren to leave the wall and come to him.

Re: Wren
*Wren looked up, timmidly. She gulped audibly. She shot a glance at her cohorts, telling them to stay where they were. The fact that an aditional Drow had arrived, made her belive that this might not be related to her helping Emma, and she did not wish to bring that up if they haden't seen. She slowly walked over to where they were...*

*Again she gulped, and brough her gaze to meet that of the leader Drow.*

"You, um, want something of me?" she asked almost timmidly.

Re: Wren
Without word to her the Drow waited, cold and unmoving as she came up close. The two on either side of the leader, the one who had beckoned left his side, quick strong steps taking them to stand on either side of the girl.

Long spears held in their hands, held tightly, the tips of the two blades coming down slowly to rest half an inch from her lower ribs. The leader turned away "follow" came his simple command, his english accent close to perfect as they began a slow march away from the workarea to the Dark Circle.

Student heads turning to watch the procession, paling as it looked very much like an execution parade of some sort.

Re: Wren
*Wordlessly Wren compleid folowing the Drow to wherever it was he was taking her. She fought to keep from throwing up the moss she'd eaten erlier that day. Her stomach knotted with nerves.*

Re: Wren
The Procession came to a halt at the Dark Circle, far from the support of her friends, alone and surrounded now by Drow, yello eyes all looking at this one. The leader turned slowly, his two mens spears still 'tickling' the spaces between her ribs.

"You have been brought to our attention slave, do you know why this would be?" he asked slowly with his perfect voice

Re: Wren
*Wren did not feel any more alone out here, as she had no freinds among the kidnapped, she had no one down there to lean on. What she felt was more helpless. With the others around she could hide from her own needs, by caring for them, helping them up when they fell. Now she was just herself. And she had no Idea how to help herself.*

"Erm...." Wren wondered which of her transgresions had gotten her where she was now. "I've not exacly been the best of slaves sir. I guess I gots a bit of a big mouth....Does this have anything to do with Jame's leg? Or was it that little incident with the dueling pen? Or is it cause I conjured water for breakfast? The singing? Is it on acount of the Singing? Oh.... I'm not realy sure which of the things I did got me here, but if you tell me what it was I'll do my best not to do it agian. I don't want to die!!!!"

*Wren felt the spears near her sides, they almost DID tickle, but only on acount of Wren was an EXTREEMLY ticklish person. She d being tickled, and right now she was resisting her bodys urge to flich away from the spears, becausse flinching away from one, would surely impale her on the other. At least, she thought, the other students who had been helping Emma were ok.*

Re: Wren
The Drows head tipped forward, disgust in her words evident "Those things are not our concern." he sneered, stopping and snapping upright suddenly, standing stiffly to attention. Spears pulled away from her sides, the butts banging into the ground crisply.

A presence was behind her, that much was obvious not only from their reactions but from the tingling running along her spine, power sat behind her here. "Is this the one?" a voice, perfect english, crisp and clear, smooth and flowing.

"My Lord, yes it is."
"Then turn her around to see the name she has been throwing around in joking."

Hands spun Wren quickly, pulling her head up to see a Drow, he stood a full half foot taller than his peers, his skin a deep, dark purple, blond dreadlocked hair, his eyes were red. Across his shoulders, a cloak, heavy and thick, black scaled leather that could only have come from the hide of a dragon. His armour, heavy chainmail that shone with the purple light coming from the circle, red eyes drove into Wrens and his mouth parted slightly
"What word do you think it was you offended with your tongue and speech?"

Re: Wren
"I honastly wish I knew." sputtered Wren, "I haven't said much today, which is saying alot given my tendancy towards speaking far more than- erm....." She stopped herself as she was realized she was rambling. "Lemme think....."

*'Ok' she thought, 'What did I say today? I sang Amazing Grace, but that wasn't his concern. I said 'aquious' to conjure some water for breakfast, and for Emma, but that's a spell, and I' been doing it for days....and....Oh dear....' Her knees began to knock. 'Than I said I wished Lyddie would blast these creeps with her Antithina Powers and that's it. So that has to be it....Antithina...*

"Um, Antithina?" Wren squeaked.

*She flinched pre-emptively for the punishment she was sure she was about to get.*

Re: Wren
The hit came hard, fast, the Drow's arm pulling back, his eyes darkening their red. Black power dripping from his fist as it struck her stomach, double her over with his strength, sending her staggering back into the grabbing arms of the guard who had led her here.

Worse than the hit was the power, a draining focus of despair and suffering, his power, his channeling of misery into his fist, misery that now engulfed her briefly before fading. He had not used much, just enough to let his anger be known.
"That word is never to be spoken except by those permitted, and no human witch is ever permitted. You disgrace my name and the name of the Drow by uttering it from your filth infested tongue."

He stepped closer, his personal guardsman holding her firmly up despite her weakened, snivelling state, "now" he began in his tense voice, "why would you be threatening Drow with my wrath?"

Re: Wren
*Wren now knew at least some of what Paul H'tarlow must have felt when his doughter did him, in. It was horrible. Had it not been fore the Drow forcing her to stand, she would have crumped like a rag doll. Still, she rased her face up to him.*

"Not you're rath sir." said Wren, trying her best to sound submissive, though her will still raged. "Anothers. A g.i.r.l at Hogwarts. She is as far as I know, and she knows, decended of...... of ....of the A word I'm not supposed to say. She is dangerous, and powerfull, just as you are. They say she killed her own father with a blow such as the one you just used, which, I surmise, was only a warning. If she can kill her father, being only part...the A thing...well then you could have killed me ten times over sir. But she has been my best freind since we were in primary school. And if she were here rigth now... well....chances are, she could have taken them out. If she got p.i.s.s.ed enough... and well.... it dosn't take much to get Lyd's P.i.s.s.ed."

*Wren regetted it the moment it came out of her mouth. She said her freinds name to these men, creatures, whatever....now she may be in danger too.*

Re: Wren
The Antithia, the noble drow, heir to the power of the house stood over Wren, his dark purple flesh darkening, black nothingness leaking from his hands slowly. He reached forward, lightly touching the side of Wrens face, the power seeping into her skin slowly.

"That was not even a warning, now tell me everything of this girl, Lyd's. And pray that you know enough to keep your mind and soul out of eternal misery where I shall cast you if you do not appease my desire to know of this." He drew his fingers away, stopping the small flow of despair and stared at her intently.

Re: Wren
*Wren shook, and shivered. She was torn between her own life, and selling out her friend. Though…it might not be selling her out….for all Wren knew, the Drow seemed to have reverence for the Antithina. Surely they wouldn’t hurt Lyddie, no, and maybe it would even help her out. Give her some leverage. Help people out…..she had to believe it…because much as she was having this whole half martyr complex, it was just that. A HALF martyr complex. She did NOT want to die.*

"What's to tell. Where do I start…I’ll start at the beginning…when I was like 2 or something my mom and her mom got us together for play dates. And then when I was in first grade and she was in kindergarten we played at recess, and the next year too. So all in all we knew each other like 6 years, and I didn’t know anything about…about her powers. Well…neither of us even knew we were witches, cause well," Wren hesitated…and then found she had no choice but to tell the truth.

*If she was going to rat on her friend, then she may as well rat on herself as well.*

"I’m muggle born myself. But Lyd’s mom wanted to keep her from her dad, so she raised her muggle…cause I guess her dad is with you guys, or was. He’s dead, but now I’m getting ahead of myself.
and well then I lost track of her for like, a long time. Then last year she came to Hogwarts…she was just the same at first, but then her dad got a hold of her and put a curse on her…the imperious curse. And then it was this whole chasing Lyddie all over thing cause he kept nabbing her out of school. She's got powers like you got, and for a while her dad had an imperious cure on her with this charm in her forehead and her hair turned purple, it used to be red. Then she and this elemantalist kid killed him and then her hair went back to red and then she was almost normal but she still had the jewel, and she tried to like attack the elementalist kid and he took out a knife and cut out he jewel and I told him off for it in the infirmary, but Lyd's wasn't at the Halloween feast and so she couldn't do anything to help us. Oh you probably want her full name, its Lyddie....Simon...no Simone H’tarlaw. Maybe you know the name? I’m sure that the- A thing- has to come from his side of that family as her mom was trying to keep her away from it and stuff. But I think id'd be hard to get your hands on her, as she's back in Hogwarts, nd however you got in, has most likely been sealed by now. Um…did I leave anything out? Oh, and I think she's a parsletounge, like talks to snakes. I think....."

*Wren had been speaking VERY fast, and now she stoped to take some breaths, to keep from fainting dead away.*

Re: Wren
He screamed then, angry frustration tearing from him, hand grabbing her around her throat in rage, black despair shoving through her as he leaked power into her, twisting himself and throwing her hard into the Dark Circle. Wren slammed heavily into the symbol soaked ground, sliding on her front, rough stone ripping her jumpsuit, grazing the skin of her face and hands.

He leapt in after her, rolling her around, backhanding her across the face, another power infested blow that sent her mind spiralling down into a dark pit of despair. He lashed out in rage, not purely at her, but at something, she was just the closest thing and the bringer of bad news. His face a twisted mask of anger, "Mud-Blood, worthless, utterly pathetic creature" his anger uncontolled, he wrenched her back to her feet.

"H'tarlaw! even a miserable half-breed she would be worth thousands to us. And a broken Elementalist, worth every death taken to break it." His head snapped to his guards who watched this with the looks as though they had seen it all before. "Why did we not know of this?" he turned back to Wren, hand curling around her throat, that awful power creeping into her slowly, purple mist playing around them, its dull light lighting up twisted features, playing over and around hard lines.
"a half-breed, an elementalist, you speak of these things as though they are commonplace, something I would expect from a worthless creature like, what else is up there that we did not know of? and if you hold out anything, I will have that mind of yours reduced to the pathetic state your snivelling kind deserve."

Re: Wren
"Wait!" excliamed Wren, startled enough to speak up despite the fact that the Antithina clutched her throught. "If you didn't know about Lyd's and the elementalists, what did you want kids for? We're no where near as powerfull as you are? Yeah, we got 3 elementalists and Lydz, and a couple of realy powerfull kids, and two decendants of the Dark Lord, and the head of Slytherin's got a great big honk'n living gargoyle and that thing could probably whop even you!!!!"

*'SH*T!' Wren thought. 'Did I realy have to say that?'*

Re: Wren
The Drow spun again in anger, a surge of black nothing, pure suffering plucked from the air around slamming into her from his hand. One hand he threw her back at the guards, the leader catught her heavily as she slumped into his arms.

He stood still glaring at her and his men, "Drag her back to the pen, work is over for the day, assemble my counsel this matter must be discussed. He spun on his heel, cloak furling out behind him, sweeping across symbol soaked ground, storming back to his luxurious tent.

The guards looked at each other slowly, looked down at hte whimpering girl and shook their heads, her news was the only thing that had kept her alive, it was too important, too shocking. Roughly they dragged her back to the pen, passing the orders around every Drow they met on hte way, the general call back being a single question.
"We going back up there?" the answer everyone knew already, they had to, there was a vurtual goldmine up there and they had missed a large vein.

((ooc: This will be continued in the sleeping post))
