Why do you all hate the Yankees?
Please don't bash me but out of curiousity as a Yankee fan why do y'all hate the yankees so much? Why do y'all hate Jeter?
Second.... i dont like the Yankees for a few reasons....
1. they have some of the MOST Arrogant Fans there is! (Mostly Bandwagon Fans)
2. i don't like how they have done business over the last 7 years...... they go out and Buy every one out there even if they don't need them! especially if the BoSox want them!
so i don't hate the Yankees Per Sé.... but i do! know what i mean? now if they did business as the Braves have i would respect them alot more and just accept their Domanance...... but between their Buying every one and them being so good and having all these Kids and othe bandwagon fans throwing it in our Face every chance they get... it gets just a bit annoying!
now for Jeter.......
Jeter is a Good SS! i'll give you that! BUT...... he isn't the greatest player like every one makes him out to be! if he had come up with any other team like Detroit or KC or Milwakee..... NO ONE would even know his name! he just got lucky and ended up in with the Yankees! and yes i do respect his talent! but.... to me i honestly think he is WAY over ratted!
so besides all that..... i dont have many probelms with the Yankees other then Wells or Clemens & Obviously Steinbrenner!
now this board is a Mets Board.... but all fans of all teams... Yes even Yankee Fans..... are all welcome to come here and post! tallk baseball and other sports! we would love to hear what you have to say! so feel free to jump into anything and share your thoughts & opinions!

I do not post here all that often, but I must bne honest when I say I sincerely HATE the Yankees with a passion. I agree with Balloon: Yankee fans for the most part are closet fans, only come out when they do well. The players are arrogant and I am sorry, but I do believe that they get special treatment from Baseball because they are one of the elite teams of Americana. My hatred of the team has been present for a very long time, but when a certain kid named Jeffery Maier ruined a game for my beloved Orioles in the Championship game, my hatred exploded. If you recall, he reached out and caught a ball that could have been caught by the outfielder. It was blatant fan interference, yet, it was ruled a home run...
There are a bunch of talented people on the team.. best money can buy...

I've always agreed with what Judy and Kevin have said. The Yankees have a long and successful history, it's just the annoying fans and what the team's done to get all that success that kill me!!!!!

i dont HATE the yanks that is a strong word dislike is better.. BUT i have my favorites on there team.. now my father put it all in prespective for me.. GS killed yanks baseball when he took over... so that guy has more money than sense..

Not 4 nothin, but u r all tryin to diss all da yanks, and da fans, but have u seen da mets win the WS lately, i dont think so! and another thing... yankee fans dont just support them wen they win, i am behind the yanks all the way, good or bad! YANKS RUL! its a known fact.

no of course not.. but notice how we're still fans... when the yankees went on a 6 game losing streak this season every one was huffs and puffs about it... not too many ppl stuck by them then... or when giambi first came aboard and sucked terribly... he was getting nothing but boos. how bout when the yankees didn't have that great of a dynasty?? they weren't exactly the most popular team then, now were they?
