The chilly air holds the promise of an early winter at Hogwarts. Scattered rain and storms occur throughout the week, and the sky is constantly cloudy.
Who is your fave Harry Potter character?I am not sure if I'm allowed to start a topic in here but I did, so sorry if I wasn't allowed.
Well as the topic says, The Question is who is your fave Harry Potter Character?
Mine is our lovely odd Luna Lovegood, just because she's so unique and she doesn't care how people percieve her. She had her own beliefs and that's something I respect about her and she's just plain different to everyone else.
I also used to like Cho Chang too, I don't know really probably cause she was like an 'Asian' character, as I'm half Asian, I started liking her and course cause she had Cedric Diggory *swoons* but then she started messing about with Harry which I didn't like cause she just ended up being annoying lol.
Oh, that is awesome! I thought no one liked Cho. I' m not a big fan of her myself, I just didn't care about her much, but it drives me mad how all people hate her for no appearant reason. I really don't understand what she did that was so wrong to turn all that hatred towards her.
Aaaand, I have rambled away....
My favorite character is Narcissa Malfoy. She isn't an important canon, and I don't know as much about her as I'd like to know, but she is indeed my favorite. Why? She is strong, loyal to the family, cold and graceful when it comes to dealing with situations such like the one she was in in HBP. I guess I can say that I admire her.
Re: Who is your fave Harry Potter character?
That's alright. I don't mind people starting topics in here. Lol!
It's probably the fact that Cho's annoying that made people hate her though I'm not one to make judgment. I liked her before she became a bit too sensitive and started crying all of the time and had put Harry in a difficult situation. Hey Maylee! I'm Asian, through and through. ^_^
Oh, Cissy, huh? I like how detached she can seem to be but there is that woman behind that mask. I like her too. ^_^ I've had a string of favorites. I loved Sirius Black at the end of PoA. I still like him even if he can be rambunctious. I love the fact that he and James were the cleverest students in school when they were in school.
I'd have to say my favorite character is Draco Malfoy. Sure, he's a spoiled little brat who's spiteful and mean. But I've admired the complexity he presents. He's nasty outwardly but that could always be a cover-up for something he lacks. Ever since he cried in HBP, I've loved him even more. ^_^ There is some good in him after all. That's what drew me to him in the first place. Poor boy. *pets him*
Re: Who is your fave Harry Potter character?
Oh my golly gosh, I forgot about Sirius. I used to love Sirius's character he was sooo totally awesome, until he died then he was just dead *sobs*.
I also like Draco, he's not as ebil as he seems, he's just a little mixed up kid lol.
That's awesome Whimsical Soul, my mum is Thai, so I'm half Thai lol
Re: Who is your fave Harry Potter character?
Lol! I loved Sirius! I really hoped he wasn't dead...
Yeah, Draco may just be a confused little boy.
Oh Thai? Cool! I'm Filipino but I do have a pinch of Chinese and another of Spanish. And call me Trixie. ^_^ I wouldn't mind Whimsy as a derivative though. Lol!

Yeah, I realize that, but in my opinion Cho's sensitivity is justifiable. I mean, she has just lost Cedric, who she obviously cared very much about. She wasn't strong enough to just let it go, and so she cried all the time. Cho is definitely not the girl to be admired or looked up to, but all this dislike towards her is just too much in my opinion.
Oh, and I love Sirius too of course! Actually I like all the Blacks
I used to dislike Draco a lot, but after HBP my opinion about the boy changed. He isn't a pathetic 2D playground bully, anymore.
I LOVE Ronald. He's my absolute favorite. Why? Because he's just so bloody clueless it's cute. And not to mention the fact that he's just so totally devoted to Harry, even though he thinks he's jealous of all of it. I love to RP Ron, although for some reason I almost always portray him negatively...X_X
And then there's Lupin. Who's a poor werewolf, outcast from both sides of what he is (werewolves and wizards). He's so loveable...I envy Tonks. Much. Well. Aside from the fact that I'm like, 14 and he's 30+, pushing 40, and he's a fictional character...anyway...
And Bella. Because she's loyal and psychotic. And she's fun to write...like a cross between a demented Hufflepuff and a top-notch Slytherin. If she ever heard me say that, though...*dies*
And...Snape. I love Snape. No explanation is going to be given here, I just love him (and I'm quite aware that he's an evil bastard and has no chance of redemption, and also killed my other favorite character).
I don't like Draco. At all. I see him as a coward in the books. He only served Voldemort because he feared for his life. He doesn't appear to believe strongly enough in anything. In the fictional realm, I don't mind whether a character is evil or good, but I do mind if they don't have conviction or loyalty to their cause. Sure, Draco didn't kill Dumbledore. He faltered. He will, probably, be redeemed in the end. But in essence, he's just a coward and only cares about himself (and his family?). But that's just my view. 0.0 *doesn't want to offend anyone*
I don't really care this or that for Cho. I don't see why people hate her because I would have reacted far worse in her situation. I loved the thought of her and Cedric as a secondary pairing in the book, and felt really bad for her during the entire fifth book. I rather thought Harry and Ron were both prats for acting like they did.
