Tourism sure does plummit when ads smack creeping lurkers in the face at every waking click of the mouse. You guys shall surely pull out of this plumb. Luckily for me I don't see ads anywhere. CSC user is a useful tool.

Actually, the ads don't keep me from posting. I just keep getting distracted by those scrolling numbers.

I have an actual question
When "they" finally do receive the final payment for the gold version to be rid of these ads, will it be retroactive to the October 15 date, or will the new six months start on whatever glorious day they are "shown the money".

Nope! It will start when we "pay". Right now, we have $30 in funds just sitting there in our community chest. If we wanted to, we could use that $30 right now to pay for CSC Gold, and the six months would start today (not be retroactive from 10/15). But, we don't want to. Here's why:
We're going for the 12 month plan. Pepper and another member here are picking up the rest of the tab, if I understand correctly. Once their payments go through, we'll have $54 in our community chest and we can then buy the 12 month plan (no ads, no swear filter, proper design). That's the only reason we're currently enduring ads and stuff. We could get rid of them right now for 6 months, if we wanted. But, we're just waiting for the final payments to go through for 12 months before we "buy" anything.
Sorry again for the ads we're suffering through. But, we're trying to avoid going through this stupid collection effort again in 6 months, considering the price may be higher by then. And, once EzBoard registers our most payments, we'll be all set for the next year.

I procrastinated a bit on the payment, but it should be being processed by EZboard's fat secretary Julia right now. They take a bit longer coming from overseas. And then of course it's just up to that enigmatic other member to step in and save the day.
