Whats your literary I.Q.
This is a fun quiz that some of us on my page have been taking. I don't know how accurate it would be considered but its amusing to take.

Re: Whats your literary I.Q.
I got 100%. Too easy, sorry I didn't even have to think about it.

It is sad that we've reached a point where knowing the answers to these questions would be considered an accomplishment. Anyone with a high school diploma should be able to easily answer any of the questions.

Re: Whats your literary I.Q.
I missed one and it was the mystery one. I didn't read the question carefully. Mystery is one of my favorite genres. You are right.....this shouldn't be hard. But so many of the young people today are not reading the classics and have no idea of the answers to the questions about litereature that isn't current.

My results:

You're Phi Beta Kappa.
Congratulations! Not only did you pay attention in class, you probably have a bookshelf full to bursting with all the books you've read over the years. You may also have raised your hand a lot in English Lit. 101 and didn't mind writing that term paper on Shakespeare … well, not too much. Most likely, you still read like a madwoman (or wish you had time to!), and you have the to-be-read pile by your bed to prove it. You enjoy all kinds of literature, from poems to classics to plays to commercial fiction -- as long as it's good..

My result was identical. I love teaching kids and adults to read. I always try to let them know what reading brings to my life. My greatest satisfaction is when I am told with pride, "I liked it and read it myself!"

I got 100% too, though I took a bit of a guess on the 'mystery' question and fluked it. ;) I'm a dunce when it comes to mystery novels. Never really took to them.

Btw: I had to smile at the option of Oliver North in the "Who wrote 'Catch 22?' question. :D
