i follow a 40% protein 20% carb 20% fat. I've read in various magazines that it works. i have jsut recently began this, but reading your website is making my mind switch. i haven't been following this for too long so i may sit down on the weekend and follow your instructions on the website to try and design a diet for me.

I'm guessing that missing 20% is probably in the carbs totalling 40%??
I havent listed ratios in the info I have put on the site, at least not yet.

how embarrassing. i meant 40 % protein, 30% carbs and 30% fat. i' am finding it hard to follow specific ratios. this weekend i'm just taking the advice you have posted with the right foods and putting together a meal plan.
hopefully i can do it.

Those are great ratios, keep following them. Just remember that you will changes them from meal to meal depending on your upcoming activity levels but make sure the daily ratios are the ones you listed.

If I weigh everything and stick to my writen plan it is 40/30/30. When I do not weigh my food I play it by the ear. I might go a few days without starch,then carb up and so on.But I stick to clean food 95% of the time. All meals are pretty balanced with protein,fat and carbs

I follow 50/25/25 ratio of carbs/protein/fat. It works wonders. I can't stand low carb, high fat diets. I run out of energy, can't train as hard, and I do not lose fat as efficiently.

With these ratios...i'm assuming you are into bodybuilding or r u an athlete? Or could be both...I'm curious.
