Last October as part of a Vivid Minority project we spent about 15 hours at an Indian reservation. We went on a saquatch expedition and a ghost hunt. One of the locals served as our guide for this. Late that night we joined the locals at a place where they go and watch for "The Creature". I was sitting in this mans truck and he was letting me listen to his "creature library" of sounds he has rwecorded. I liked this one. It is a recording of his recording. You will hear an owl in trhe distance and then closer and louder you will hear something mimicking the owl. The man and his wife were alone at about 4 am when they recorded this and he assured me no one else was around (human anyway) ..Demon, Savage and others let me knwo what you think....

Re: VOCALIZATION??
I've heard that before and I have heard somethings similar too. Are there any reports of monkeys or baboons escaping from a circus or maybe someone had a pet monkey or something in that area? I need to listen to that some more. Tell me what kind of enviroment it was recorded in.
Re: VOCALIZATION??
no monkeys....woods, secondary growth, area reported to be frequented by bigfoot, received media attention a few years ago, railroad tracks nearby and the river also, on a indian reservation, recording was made by an amateur researcher and tribal elder

Re: VOCALIZATION??
Well if he is no relation to you, then I can almost believe it could possibly be a squatch or a really loud-mouthed owl. J/K about the relative thing.
Re: VOCALIZATION??
no way dude for them these are a fact of life....they have a whole thing they do at nights to draw them up and @#%$...they arent afraid at all

Re: VOCALIZATION??
Uh Russ, you are not seeing the point about the hairstanding. In a lot of encounters, witnesses state that their hair stood on end. It doesn't mean they are afraid, it means that their body has sensed certain pheromones that coincide with those of a "possible" predator. It has nothing to do with whether or not the guy doing the recording has fear or not. It is only an indicator of whether or not this is an unknown animal, or nothing more than a talented owl. According to your post, this is a fact of life for them, so they are used to it. Forget the fear thing. All I want to know is did the guy's hair stand on end or not?
Just because my hair stands on end, doesn't mean whether or not I am going to run or shoot. Why run? If you run from a potentially dangerous animal whether or not it is a carnivore or herbivore, running is a sign of weakness, and there is a chance that you might get trampled or eaten ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!Its always better to stand your ground, especially if Wahoo has a camera with him.
Re: VOCALIZATION??
Yeah I see your point there. Ok imagine this: you and some idiot from that OKCGC live close together right? What about 20-30 miles or so? Ok lets assume(and this won't be used against you at any other boards by me) that idiot and is a sex-crazed woman, and wants to eat or get with you, and you know this, and she has been after you and possibly stalking you for a long time- ie, for years. Ok, you want to see what she is up to, but you don't want to run into her, but the scent or sight of her gives you the chills. Thats it. You are not afraid of her, but you dread running into her because you know she is going to be hinting around that she wants to do you. Ok Russ that feeling is the "being watched feeling" and what I am getting at is that it is a reflex that has been with humans for a very long time, you know back when humans were meals on two legs. So a human's body, not its mind reacts to a predatory threat, even though its mind knows that the predator or unknown primate in this case hasn't ever been a threat. Does that make sense? If not its because of those damn painkillers again. A lot of bf encounters have this "being watched" sensation noted in them, and that I guess is what I am getting at. I got it, hell I got it the last time I got a vocalization which was a few days ago.
Re: VOCALIZATION??
no i understand totally, that sensation you are refering to is what i am studying with my cognition trials, it is a natural biological response to that which we perceive as possible danger it is our nervous system getting ready for flight or fight, but it is largely a perceptual response those that dont fear something and regard say a bigfoot much like we do cattle or something will not have this response......BUT when you and demon roll up here you can ask him yourself
