This is on a Debian server I've commandeered at the university I work at. I'm the server admin, but I'm very new to it. There's no pretty way to get to that board yet. If I can figure out how to do shared hosting on it, I'll get guitarclinic101.com pointing to it. Right now I'm just using a theme I downloaded from phpbb.com; with time, I might be able to figure out how to tweak the graphics (i.e., put our logo on the damn page) but for now, you're going to go there and like it, or help me tweak it, or STFU.
Just register a name and you're ready to post using that name.
A last word, if things hork, it's probably my fault, but there's to be no bitching--go start your own server. If I forsee a horking episode in the future (for instance, as I try to figure out how to get this server to act as a shared server), I will send a mass email that will warn you that the server could go down, and the board could get wiped. This board features good backup capabilities, though, so we should be okay. Capice? Great.
Have fun
Chris

You're active.
No need to post your email. Make sure that the email you register on the new board is one you actually check now and then, and not just a spam account. There may be a need from time to time to send out mass emails (i.e., in the event that I'm about to possibly nuke the server by installing/reconfiguring something and I don't want to pull an ezBoard and be like, "WTF! Sorry. We got h4x0r3d or something! We had no idea we were going to experience downtime! Here's 3 days of Gold Community credit! Luv u!")

Re: Trying out a new board
Im enjoying this new place, I've already got music up on it . Heh. Its nice, though a darker layout may be a bit nicer, easier on the eyes. This one seems a bit to..."stock".
