Trent vs. Hiro
Chaos Rain and Senzio stood toe to metal toe outside ESS HQ. The two pilots nodded to each other signaling the start of the spar.
Trent jerked his controls up and back sending his MS into the air in reverse. Hiro took off after him flying up, down and side to side trying to get close enough for melee combat. “Let’s see how well you pilot when you’re blind!” Trent shouted through the com-screen. Chaos Rain’s abdomen exploded with the release of missiles. Exploding with a flash of light fifty yards from Senzio, Hiro’s screen lit up and crackled going completely white. In a swift motion Chaos Rain shoulder rushed its partner and grabbed its leg before it got too far away. Swinging in a circle, Senzio was released towards the ground. Hiro felt his body pressing against his harness and flung the controls upwards hoping not to bottom out. Still mostly blind he stopped in mid air and spiraled around letting his beam vulcan spray. Chaos Rain dove down under the spinning MS and shot a ray of NPL fire in its direction. Senzio shuttered and slowly lost its momentum and began to fall. Chaos Rain burst upwards, catching the MS and punted it higher into the air. Hiro started to get some visible static through his screen and saw Trent piloting back up to him. Senzio threw a punch that Chaos Rain easily motored through. Making Hiro bounce in his seat, Senzio was knocked back by another shoulder ram. Getting a little annoyed now, Hiro went for the upper hand. Just before getting in range, Trent closed his active cloak over his MS and took the sluggish barrage of attacks like a champ. Hiro’s arms started to get sore, the controls were still sticking from the NPL. Chaos Rain reached out and grabbed Senzio by the head and threw him down, into the ground and out of action. Trent let his MS float onto the ground, standing above Senzio. “Usually ends this way, huh?” Trent said with a smile, “Good fight, kid.” Hiro nodded, “Yea, you too. It would have been better if I won.” Trent just shook his head and dropped out of his cockpit to help Hiro up.
