I am treating a goat for infection in a rear leg on antibiotics supplied by my vet for the problem. He goat has devloped a shiver and appears to have a fever. Does anyone know if asprin or ibuprofen can help alleviate fever in a goat as it does in humans? I know that goats and take both these drugs, but that asprin requires a large does as it it not absorbed well. Thanks for any help.
