This band is terrible.
The Hives are perhaps the worst to happen to rock ever. They suck. Simply said. The lead singer can't sing at all. They rip beats off of bands like the Doors. AND they are AWFUL live. I mean, I've heard garage bands down my street sound better than these guys. And what the hell's with the suits!? They like douche bags. And the Vines are the same way. Both bands suck royally. I can't say anything else about it.
Obviously I am not going to agree with you, but I have to say, the rock scene is some wierd thing that doesnt make sense, and was about image over music. The suits are part of the Hives image, partly taking the piss, and being as arogant as youd like. The Hives are an example of a band who put image above music, which is why they are actually a good thing for rock. But it's understandable they're music won't be to everyone's taste, and lets say no more about that one.
The Hives are more than a band, they're something to do, they're fun. And them being live is just an extension of that. So ner :p

damn you're hostile, let us be, if you don't like the hives then @#%$ off. it's not like they're a burden to you. and they do not rip off beats from the doors, in fact they sound nothing like the doors. and they dress however they @#%$ want. if you hate them that much, why do you bother posting a message on one of their sites?

O god this was just a huge joke! I don't hate them at all! I don't particularly care for them but that's not important. I do think that the Hives are awful live, but that's cuz English is a second language for them and you can't understand the lead singer too well. Anyway, i understand that a lot of people like them and, while i wouldn't go buy their cd's, i don't mind listening to them. Again, i was just joking. I wanted to see what you guys would say. Obviously, we're all macho on the Internet and our true colors show through and apparently i hurt the feelings of many loyal fans. So.... yea, sorry 'bout that, IT WAS A JOKE!

personally, I absolutley love The Hives, they rock like a megabitch, but, i dont care if someone else hates them, i mean i hate Linkin Park, but that doesnt mean that they dont still sell shitloads of records, someone else must like them, its not my problem they like @#%$ music.

First of all what kind of name is Grease9? The Hives bring back what rock was missing. Garage Rock beats the rock pop like POD, Limp Bizkit, and Linkin Park (probably Grease9's ideal bands). The arrogant ways of howlin pelle makes this band stick out from any one else and gives its own unique style. So you are entitled to your opinion but do it in the Eminem forum.
