The Seventh Horcrux
Lights...
As a representative of The Seventh Horcrux - A Post HBP Harry Potter RPG, I would like to introduce you to an entirely new community, full of hope and promise for happy times and great plots. This RPG was inspired by Lord Whiteroses's Lament of the Phoenix, but holds an entirely different air of chaos and destruction. Just like any new RPG, we're looking for members who are willing to put their time and effort into making the board an exciting place to hang out. With just enough suspense in the plot to keep you guessing, we allow all of our members to help plan everything out and participate in all events.
The stage is set, here at The Seventh Horcrux, and all we need now is our crew. Every canon character is currently available, from Harry Potter to Peter Pettigrew and Cornelius Fudge. If you're interested in participating in a story that will be nothing short of an epic adventure for all those involved, go ahead and come check out The Seventh Horcrux. It's new, it's brilliant, and it's ripe with potential. So, now the one thing I must ask you - what the heck are you waiting for?

The Seventh Horcrux is a PG13 rated board, friendly to all those who choose to come along and take a shot at our story line. We're looking for experienced and inexperienced writers alike, though our standards for writing-quality is high. We're willing to help out anybody who wants to roll in and attempt an application or two. You can have as many characters as you can handle, and the rules are very loose. We strive to be friendly, so in the end it comes down to this. Who wouldn't want to join a board with a thick plot, plenty of room to RP and get to meet new people, and friendly faces all around?

After several weeks of discussion, the Board of Education finally decided that Hogwarts could be opened once again, on the account that newly instated headmistress, Minerva McGonagall, find a suitable Gryffindor Head of House, Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, and Transfiguration Professor. And find them she did, in willing hearts and hopeful souls.
Harry Potter himself decided to return to Hogwarts, but not for schooling. In a desperate search to find the answers that Dumbledore could not give him, Harry intends to search through the former Headmaster's pensieve and talk to his portrait. When Minerva explains to him that portraits only hold the essense of the person's personality, and not all of the information they possessed in life, Harry does not lose hope. He is determined.
Ron and Hermione are caught in a trap, realizing that Harry would go back to school, they are forced to attend as students. Sometimes Harry attends the classes with them, sometimes he doesn't. He doesn't care about grades anymore. With the entire world at the brink of utter chaos and destruction, Harry's plight to find the missing Horcruxes is the only hope left.
Meanwhile, Voldemort is plotting. Every week somebody is called out of class only to learn that their family has been slaughtered or has mysteriously disappeared. The empty wand shop is only one atestment to the loss the wizarding world has suffered at the hands of the Dark Lord, and the dark times are only just beginning. The Order of the Phoenix is struggling to revive itself after the loss of its head, and Slughorn's 'Slug Club' seem to be more involved than they should be.
This is the last war, they say, but who will win no one is sure. With their saviour locked within the halls of a school and their Ministry of Magic quickly being corrupted from within, the people of Europe are beginning to fear that their time to suffer has come upon them. As the Sorting Hat said in the bleak year of 1995, it is time to unite, or crumble from within.
