The Road From Home
Hey you guys. Its October which is Armenian Cultural Month! Um yea and my school (Arshag Dickranian) were selling books from Abril Bookstore (an armenian bookstore in Glendale) there Armenian and English books, cards, patchs, stickers, necklaces anything lol there. Anyways so my school had brought the books from there to sell at our school...and my eye was caught on a book called THE ROAD FROM HOME my friends, stepan, told me he read that book and it was a really good book so did the guy selling it too...So I bought it....I suggest you guys to do to..its only $5.95 its in English, its about the life of a Armenian Genocide victem, you can say it's like a diray kind of.. here is what it says in back of the book:
"David Kherdian re-creates his mother's voice in telling the true story of a childhood interrupted by one of the most devastating holocausts of our century. Veron Dumehjian Kherdian was born into a loving and prosperous family. Then, in the year 1915, the Turkish goverment began the systematic destruction of its Armenian population."

O and if you go to Abril Bookstore..you can find my dad's book hehe o his name is Garnik Galstian I dont thinnk you guys care but now his writing a book about the Armenians and he finished a book about my sister and me! OK well later
