The Neomecic Age
A long time ago when the world began everything was simple and plain. The people of Neopha lived peacefully for many years.
But as all things do with time, this changed. They started noticing differences among each other.
And then the industrial revolution hit in 1054 BS (Before Separation). The world ended up in a current that moved so rapidly there was no escaping from it. Technology and Magic tried for a while, but these two simple could no co-exist and each day the resentment grew and they started to disagree. This led to the beginning of the Great War.
For 75 years this war raged through the world, and there was a hallow peace afterwards. From that time onward was known as AS or After Separation. Mech and Magi separated from each other and took with them their knowledge and their loathing, each feeling superior over the other..
After the separation of Mech and Magi, others started to gather. There here where those who took knowledge of both sides and watched. The UnChosen, but they call themselves the Watchers and they bide their time.
