As I peruse what is left of Gor, it takes less and less of my time these days, I find that Gor is [still] dead.
But like a cancer, and Gor is just that, I keep a vigilance out for it, perhaps, as they say, if Gor is still dead in a few years we can call ourselves Gor free.
Silk and Steel have all run away like the cowards we all knew them to be. But, alas, when you turn fifty years of age and gain 100 or so pounds it really gets to be quite impossible to delude oneself anymore, that one is a "warrior", let alone a "lady killer" [sic], whilst sipping no name beer as their sweaty flabby dimpled rotund arses are stuck firmly planted in their Lazeeboys.
A quick glance at the next busiest Gor board finds that in the past month, and a bit, there have been about eleven posts from registered members, and of those, eight are first timers.
Further still, of those posts, they have nothing to do with Gor at all, but are in praise of a butcher, a drug dealer, a liar, and a coward; Ronald Reagan; no wonder what's left of Gor is praising him.
How soon they forget:
-Iran/Contra
-His support of Al qaeda (then Mujahadeen) and Osama Bin Laden
-His support of Saddam Hussien
-His support of the Aayatollah Khomeini
-His selling of arms to Iran
-His selling of arms to Iraq
-Then diverting arms to Nicarauga in trade for cocaine
-His selling of cocaine to his own citizens to pay for his corrupt actions in the middle east to pay for the weapons used in the ...
- ... Iran/Iraq war
-His lying about the entire event(s)
-His cowardly scapegoating of Oliver North
-In the 1980 debates he had President Carter's briefing book stolen
-His illegal invasion of Grenada
-Him basing his entire economic strategy upon tarot cards and telephone psychics
It was not called voodoo economics for no reason folks.
-The fact that his wife ran the show (but we all know that Gorean men love to be dominated by women)
-His support of the invasion of Lebanon, then running away like a Gorean after it went bad
If there is a Hell he is there.
Of that there can be no doubt.
Ah but I digress; back to the title of this topic.
Gor, as Goreans like to tell us, is all about nature: the survival of the fittest they proudly proclaim.
Well Gor is dead; yet, here I still stand (well sit): thus; I am the true Gorean.

The fact that my original post was made way back in June 2004 speaks volumes as to just how lonely you must be child.
Interesting that you're all about quantity; as opposed to quality. Especially as you've had an 11 000 "hit" count reduction over the past six months; wow; looks like gor is dying even faster than ever.

Not sure where you're taking your quotes from, though that isn't unusual for you-simply post some words with a "modderator" attribution and expect to make some sort of a point. <shrug>
As for any statement that I wouldn't return here, if you would simply point me to that quote, so that I can see it for myself, I'll stand corrected. If, though, you are (again) unable to do so, I'll understand that you are, yet again, making things up for your own edification.
The numbers from the Gorean Public Boards are there for all to see, so I'll let it stand at that.

For what it's worth, I will now, for the very first and only time, state that I will never again post to this forum.
Not that anybody besides myself and Sha are reading here any longer, but those who may happen by, may, as always for the past decade, find me at the still very active Gorean Public Boards where they may also find the quite real and easy to access statistics posted in the initial message in this thread.
I do appreciate your predictability and consistency, Sha, and the message heading will make it very easy to find if I ever break my word about posting here. Happy New Year and enjoy the silence!
