The Finale

Ew, that kiss was disgusting. At least it's over and goodbye. I am pissed about the Daydream Believer song though.

The episode annoyed me mostly, but I guess it could have been worse.

I just want my P/J back in Season 5.

LRamsay Loves Pacey and Joey Posts: 3 (5/23/01 6:53 pm)	The Finale So c'mon guys... what'd you all think about the finale?? I actually liked it (even though there was a Dawson/Joey kiss in the end ). I think they needed that though; a goodbye kiss. It is sooooo obvious that they have no chemistry together. Joah and Katie really heat up the screen, but Joey and Dawson are so boring. It broke my heart when Pacey called from the boat, and even though he didn't call Joey, I have a good feeling about next season. So I'm dying to know what my fellow obsessers thought! He could have been a better man - an honorable man. He could have told Jo that Pacey is thinking of her. but he must stay in the lime light, the forever knight and shining armor. The KISS... defiled the character of Joey, Pacey and DOGson .... they have come a long way from the First episode only to have them wind up exactly in the same position they had been in at the end of season 1. I think the only reason that Jo kissed Dogson was out of pure desperation... losing her boyfriend and then best friend. I can understand the kiss to a point. so long as it was a goodbye kiss. I enjoyed the episode up untill D kept his mouth shut, then I was just plain disapointed :X Toni

I really find it hard to believe that she would kiss him... Even if it was a goodbye kiss. It wasn't right. There are just too many things there with Banana Head and Joey to make it as innocent as they'd like it to be... especially from his side. I really hated that. The rest of the episode was all right. I wanted to see more of Joshie though. He looked pretty darn hot to me! Evie

Ugh. At least it's over, but I just can't believe that she would kiss him - I still have trouble figuring out why after barely being "best friends" for two seasons suddenly P/Jo split up and TPTB expect us to believe that they are all buddy-buddy again like nothing changed? Ok, I am probably making no sense so I'll stop here. Kim

They tried to get across that they've been hanging out for a month, but we got about as much lead up to this as we did to the P/Jo break up. Or well, Pacey's outburst. But this is DC and I will write letters.

I mean that whole 'Best Friend' thing was so unrealistic and held no context to the way things had been going on in Season 4 and even in Season 3. I was like WTF! That was almost as bad as last Season when finally in "Stolen Kisses" (After rejecting her and basically showing he didn't want anything romantic with her) Dawson magically (for lack of a better word, sorry) got back into the mentality that he wanted Joey back. I was expecting them to get wrapped up in their little "moment" and just kiss. I didn't expect Dawson to tell Jo that their chapter is OVER! Like we all KNOW... there wasn't any magic, no romance, no passion, no emotion... it was a gesture of kindness/friendship. The "closure kiss." I'm glad I watched the ep, it's relieving to know that they are over and done with. All in all, I thought the episode was kind of cute, of course except the fact that it lacked JJ major! It wasn't too bad, and not as corny as I thought, except for the last 2 minutes... blah blah, I hate the noises of people kissing on-screen... what's up w/ that sound?! What kills me though is that 2 days ago I went to the official boards, and saw some DJer started this topic that said, "haha We won, stop watching now PJers..." or something along those lines! Ugh... I'm getting sick of this immaturity and the fact that this show is only about couple wars! AHHH! Sure we hear that time and time again... but I needed to rant... Lots of Love! Heathyr
