Thanks for all of your hard work, Dan! I know how much effort it takes to put on an event like that and you, Les and Don did a great job! I thought it all went very well. The field was nice - an excellent runway, and plenty of room. It wasn't too crowded. I don't think anyone felt that they couldn't get in enough flight time (which is the biggest drawback of the larger fun fly events). The events were fun, and interesting to participate in and watch. The numerous raffle prizes were really nice (especially if your name was RJ). My only regret is that we only have one or two of these Colorado fun flies a year, and it would be fun to have a few more.
The Saturday catered dinner was very good, and everyone that I talked with agreed.
Now about RJ's luck... Maybe next time we should have a separate raffle just for RJ and the prizes would be few and far between. Just kidding... I'm sure that RJ will be more than happy to let us all have a turn at the sticks of his new gasser!
