Tehr - After Aldons Incident
The guards dragging Celest looked to Tehr first, his curt nod and then dropped her fully. A haevy kick smacking into her side, crumpling her and winding her. Hands wrapped around her arms and shoulders again and they picked her back up.

Continuing to half drag her across to his tent, the looks they cast each other were odd, both questioning why neither of these two had been severly beaten yet, for insolence at the least, let alone attacking the guards.

"He's losin it" one muttered at last, the other nodding very slightly, knowing what would happen if they were overheard here.
"gone if you ask me, one of these should have died" their idle talk continuing as they reached the tent and secured Celest.

***********************************************************

Tehr strode into his tent, a large round pavilion, high walled, bare on the inside aside from a folding table and chairs, a small chest and a rack and post for his many weapons and armour. An admantine stake had been driven into the ground far from his stretcher, two other stretchers, older and more used than his own rested on either side of the stake.

The stake had a loop in the top of it, a chain running through it, one end attached to the shackles on Celests arms and legs. The other end free for now.

He pushed Ryleigh ahead of him, grabbing the back of her neck and forcing her down next to the stake, one of his men came in behind, carrying a new set of shackles which were locked around her wrists and ankles. The chains then being locked to the main chain, attaching the two trophies and locking them to the ground (in effect).

Tehr stood from his kneeling then, spoke to his man who promptly left, looking uneasy, as though something was wrong with what was going on, he didn't seem to argue though. Closing the tent flap on his way out, standing watch over his patrons humble abode with another of the five men Tehr had raised from infancy.

Tehr walked across to the weapons rack, beginning to take his many weapons off one at a time and with great care, as though this was some form of ritual. Ignoring the two slaves for now.

((ooc: This is for Celest and Ryleigh only. The rest of you are still being punished in Aldons thread and are far away. continued from Aldons Arrogance))

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Celest remained quiet as she watched Tehr. She had a bitter taste in her mouth, probably some blood or maybe it was just the bitter taste of hate. She blinked, careful not to take her eyes off Tehr and his weapons. She shuddered slightly as she thought of the things those weapons had already done to many people. He thinks hes soooo great, she thought sourly and she thought of how much she longed to chuck something at him. But she had already gotten herself into too much trouble, and so she still remained silent and immobile....

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Tehr remained silent, moving from habit, shedding both curved swords, his 8 throwing knives, the long daggers on his thighs, the smaller dagger from his left forearm, the two stillettos from his boots and lastly pulled a wickedly curved dagger, a smaller version of his swords, from the small of his back.

He turned slowly, stretching his back and shoulders, holding the dagger lightly and walked over to the table, putting it down. Turned back to his stretcher and pulled his small chest over, opened it, pulled a thick glassed bottle out and a small tumbler.

Still saying nothing he sat in his hard seat, opened the bottle and poured a glass full of amber liquid out, knocking the entire tumbler back quickly and easily he refilled it slower and set the bottle and glass down to finally look at his two slaves.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Ryleigh sat pinned to the floor by the chains, her head bowed, eyes half closed, her tongue rolling over her bruised lip, as her thoughts wandering.

As she lifted her head, her caught Tehr's stare, she grinned oddly, and sighed airly. Her blue eyes dancing with a triumphant gleam.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Tehr looked at her, eyes distant his thoughts more than a little tangled up. He stroked the dagger, his favourite dueling weapon, fingers running along its sharpened edge slowly. Eyes never leaving the pair of battered, bruised and bloodied slaves chained to the cold stone floor of his pavilion tent.

"What is your point?" he asked again slower this time while he tipped the tumbler slowly to wet his thin lips, yellow, sharpened teeth glistening with moisture.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Ryleigh shrugged airly.

"Nothing...really, I was just testing out a theory. And it was proven. I thank you." She said holding back a laugh, her head bowing in mock respect to him. Then she turned away, her grin dropping slightly.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Celest raised one eyebrow too look at Tehr. She half glanced at Ryleigh. Neither of them spoke. But Celest was very curious to know something, and she half spoke half mumbled "Honestly, you brute, if your just going to sit their drinking, why must we stay here? Why cant we go back out there?" she said her eyebrow still raised...

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Tehrs hand curled around the hilt of his dagger, lifting with blinding speed and turning the blade, slamming the tip down into the table, eyes hard a muscle in his cheek twitching compulsively.
“Proven!” he sneered angrily, “I have proven nothing.” He said slower, lingering on the the words.

He eased the dagger out of the table, inspecting its edge slowly
“You seem far more intelligent than most animals, or at least you know how to actually speak, answer me then why you aren’t dead, and why you are here." Something slipped off those words, eyes darting back to his slaves quickly.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Celest closed her eyes and listened to what Tehr was saying. When she opened them she rolled them slightly in a sarcastic way, before turning away from him and muttering "Because we arent animals you ugly..." she didnt finish that sentence and instead turned her head back to him, a sarcastic grin on her face "Incase you havent noticed...you we are far more intellegent then you are, if we werent you wouldnt need us to do your silly little things. And I suppose the reason we arent dead yet is because you havent cracked and gone insane"......

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Ryleigh flicked her eyes to Celestina and narrowed her eyes, head shaking ever so slightly, meaning - keep your damn mouth shut and let me handle this -, before turning back to Tehr head tilted locking eyes with his as they moved from the blade.

"Because you need us, your Elders need us to dig you home." She replied slowly. "You can't kill us, the less slaves their are, the slower your work goes....your elders wouldn't like that now would they?" She added in a low sneering tease.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Tehr looked between the two, fingers curling and uncurling around the hilt of his dagger, every trained instinct ordering him to kill one of them in some way that would destroy the others resistance. He drained his glass instead, violenlty slamming it down on the table and pouring another.

"Wrong, we have been through that already, you disappoint." He informed Celest at last, "don't disappoint again."

His head turned then to Ryleigh, his mind turning this into a game, that was it, that was what he was doing, violence hadn't worked, he would talk them into submission.
"I meant you two, you are not workers, you are not needed. You attacked a guard." He paused, not thinking much anymore, knowing the two guards outside were loyal to him and only to him, and neither of them spoke a word of English.

"And my elders? they do not care what happens to the animals, so long as enough live to get the job done. So try again."

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Celest's eyes narrowed. And she scowled heavily, and turned her head again away from Tehrs eyes. She wouldnt listen, simple, she would not speak, she would not listen she would not do anything in retaliation, he said they werent needed....then why not set them free? was he afraid that they would get to Carm, and inform her of everything that had happend, and that she would come and rescue the rest...probably. But none the less, Ryleigh seemed to always know what to say, so she awaited Ryleighs reaction, her head still turned away from Tehrs face.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
"They don't care do they?" Ryleigh asked laughing a little. "Or is it they don't know? " She shook her head slightly, her grin still playing on her lips. Ignoring his growing rage slowly coming up with another smart allec response.

"And I actually think the drink is getting to you. You've already told us why you won't kill us. You don't want to grant us the pleasure. That has to be the only answer, either that or you are looking to one of us for a potential bride." She added shifting in her chains a bit, her head flicking to move a long strand of black hair out of her iced eyes.

"And if thats why we are still alive." Ryleigh continued, looking him over slowly, her face curling into disgust. "Kill me now..." She added.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
"wouldn't give you the pleasure either way." Tehr snapped back, knowing full well she was goading him, trying to get him to hit her, that helped to keep his dagger resting on the table.

"Try again." he urged now, "They do know, and right now one of you should be dead, pleasure to you or not, attacking guards, using magic like that, you should be food for that Hydra." He leant back in his seat, drinking more, eyes slipping over to Celest curiously.
"So try again."

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
"No." Ryleigh spat, her eyes now locked on Tehr, her face setting itself in anger. "How about you try again, we know by all means we should be dead" She hissed slowly, straightening herself up as best she could. "But you tell us why we aren't." She demanded her blue eyes flashing angrily.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Tehr held the look of triumph, it was an empty feeling, but it was something at least.
"Trophies, I wouldn't want to kill my tophies off now would I, especially not ones that will provide such entertaining displays of defiance even when chained like disobedient dogs are."

His eyes levelled with hers, he drank some more, feeling the relaxation that had eluded him for days now sinking into his soul.
"I can picture it now trophy, I'll get some little collars made up as well, get rid of those bands that belong to a real slave, a working slave. Get you both a pretty little collar to wear." He spoke quickly, sneeringly.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Ryleigh snorted, her blue eyes rolling exaggeratedly.

"Come of it." She sighed, cutting him off from his little idle fantasy "You find us entertaining?" She asked haugtily, her head tilting.

"Please. I don't think entertaining is the word, not while you yell, and drive your dagger into the table when all you really want to do is drive it through my heart." She continued, her odd grin returning.

"My dear Tehr," Ryleigh said in a mocking tone. "I think we are more along the lines of annoying. And I _know_ I am getting to you, and as long as you let this little *cattle* live, I'll continue with it." She hissed slowly, making her last sentence well heard, her eyes flashing oddly as she looked to him.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Tehr hand wrapped around the daggers hilt tightly, his face twitching as another subtle shift twisted under the yellow anger of his eyes. His hand eased, face slacking very slightly before twisting again, his mind had hit a judderbar with her words.

"How the hell did I end up with you two?" he muttered into his glass, pushing the dagger away from himself as he shook his dreadlocked head
"a fine pair of damned trophies I got."

He looked at his now empty glass, peering at it and sighed slightly, pouring another quickly.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Ryleigh blinked very rapidly at Tehr's reaction, her grin falling then returing quickly. He was drunk...and stumped. She snorted at herself, still blinking a chuckle being contained. She turned slowly to Celestina, and blinked again, shrugging slightly, blue eyes turning back to Tehr almost immediatly.

"Come again?" She asked leaning forward a bit, voice slightly raised, she didn't care on how drunk or stumped he was, she was gonna @#%$ with him 'tel the end, how ever long or short, that may be.

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
Tehr looked up from his glass, not as drunk as she thought, nowhere near it in fact, he knocked back some more of whatever drink that bottle held. Looked at Ryleigh, that same shift behind his eyes.

"You are a smart one, naive in your view though, what do you suppose happens when someone steps out of line, because they are asked to?"

Re: Tehr - After Aldons Incident
"Then they do their job, but one can still go too far, they think their level permanet, something no one should get used to when its not their position in the first place." She sighed airly, this game he was playing was very boring.

"But you're not answering me, why are we not dead yet? She asked, head tilted, a dirty eyebrow raised expressivly.

"Because I am not believing that trophey bullshit."
