Tears of Blood, Chapter II
*~Begins at end of Chap I~*
Alexander came to the recent battle scene, he gasped softly at the site... he only saw Sonia... He took a step back his hand going to his sword almost immediately, yet he stopped, the woman was injured... She surely would not be able to attack.... He titled his head and then walked slowly to her, as he kneeled, he spoke,"M'lady..?"His voice was strangely soft and as well emotionless.... Incredibly strange for one of his presumed age... Yet,those dull cobalt hues told otherwise....
His skin was pale, remarkably pale.... His attire was this:A silken black corset, this fit his trimmed upper body perfectly. Black pants, these hung loosely at his slender hips by means of a belt, upon his feet were a pair of rich Wyrven's leather boots, and finally to cover this attire, a rich black over coat surrounded him, it's length just at his heels.... Upon the boy's left hip a whip could be seen... And upon his right a richly decorated sword, tall this and more added to this boy's mystery....

Sonia groaned, hearing someone speak softly to her.
"Ugh... A...Alucard?" she rasped weakly, almost inaudible. The voice sounded like him, yet it didn't. She managed to open one eye weakly, looking at him, and it didn't take long for her eyelid to close again, and she let out another groan, this time, of pain.
Strange, but all of the commotion had ceased. Wolf-Alucard's barks and snarls had gone, Death's cackles had faded away, and the beating of Aalart's wings had disappeared, and this young man kneeled next to her.
'Am... am I dreaming? Am I dead?' Sonia wondered, trying her best to stay conscious.
Although Sonia knew not who this man was, she managed to move her lips again, "...H...help... m...me."

Healing Methods
He rose a hand, as he did he spoke,"Heal..." As the single syllabled word, his hand begin to glow a gentle blue hue.... Alex moved his hand and placed it upon the young woman's wound in her side, and begin to proceed in healing by means of magick....
After some minutes, he healed the young of the scythe wound, and then removed the feathers her body... Tossing them aside as he did, as he finished, he casted heal upon her once again, making sure he had done this fully, he then spoke," Tell me..... What happened here..?" He pulled his hair back into a ponytail now, and then awaited her reply..
Alex slumped against the wall some feet beside her.... He stared of into the distance as he allowed thoughts to invade his mind.
Suddenly, he awakes. He found himself on the ground where he looked furiously around the battlefield. Death looked right under himself where he saw many holes and ashes on his cloak. He was targeted successfully by Alucard. He got up slowly where he stood remembering that he was killing the young Belmont. He turned around finding no body at all after the battle. He raged to find that he has came close to killing the Belmont until the fool, Alucard, made his sneaky attack.
But, Dracula summons him, where he must now attend to the master's needs.

Sonia looked at the man, "Thanks..."
She then looked away. Where was Alucard? And the wierd wing-ed man, and Death?
Shaking her head of her thoughts, Sonia turned back to her healer, "I... I don't remember much... Dracula imprisoned me, then I managed to escape, and I found Alucard... we were attacked by a man named Aalart. He had wings of blood that shot at me, and that's where the poison came from... then Death attacked me... I don't know where Alucard is..."
She looked away, at the floor. Something shining in what little light there was. Sonia recognized it as one of the many swords Alucard had in his arsenal. She crawled over to it and picked it up. It was a short sword, with a blade that was about 2 1/2 feet long.
"Well, at least it's a weapon..." Sonia murmured, and took the scabbard that had dropped as well, tying it to her belt.
She stood and looked at him, "I guess the first thing I must do is find my lover, Alucard... something happened to him and I don't think it was something anyone would like..." she pushed a strand of her golden blonde hair out of her face, "What is your name? I'm Sonia Belmont."
Healing Methods
He stood and then let his hair down from a ponytail, he then leaned against the wall, he began to think,*Belmont..? She is a Belmont..? Mother spoke nothing of such... She only told me of Trevor....* He looked back up slowly as he replied," Alex... Alexander Belmont.." It just rolled out of his mouth, with one simple sentence, he betrayed his mother's dying words... 'Never tell another soul, of who you are...' Yet, strangely, the boy felt as if he could trust her..... He glanced to, awaiting a reply, he expected worse.... A laugh maybe, or something other jest....
He only sighed now and came from his position upon the wall, he went to the door adjacent from whence he came, and then looked back at her... With a slight nod, he left, going up the winding ways to the top.

Sonia stayed silent as he spoke, and when he walked away, Sonia quickly took off after him, "Wait!" she called.
Catching up with Alex, Sonia looked at him, "I know not why you're here, but it seems I can do nothing but ask for your help," she then inhaled and let her shoulders fall, "Will you help me look for my companion?" she asked.
Ordinary Belmont?
"You trust me, we just met... You are foolish."He said with a sigh and then looked down... "All right, I shall help you... Maybe, I can learn the truth of who I am in this castle..." He looked back to her with a slight smirk upon his face.
"For... I am not an ordinary Belmont..." He then began to walk up the stairs once again slowly.

Sonia shrugged, "Don't worry, I have a bad habit of trusting people I just met... it's a gut feeling."
She blinked when she heard Alex say he wasn't an ordinary Belmont. Sonia caught up with him and blinked, "What do you mean, you're not an ordinary Belmont?" she asked, "You appear to be ordinary... well, aside from the fact that you look like you haven't gotten much sun..."

He looked to her.."I cannot get sunlight... The intense light may kill me.... Or so I was told... My mother, Jessica Belmont... She supposedly fell in love with Dracula... That was why she was murdered, or rather executed..... That is why I am here...." He looked down, as a sigh escaped his lips he looked back up.
"I am here to find the truth of who I am..... Why I have these powers, and such.... I know I am not of the Earth... for me having been born over a century ago... People fear me... Call me a 'dunpeal', half-vampire, and such....." He left it at that....

Sonia stood there, her jaw slightly dropped. He was a dunpeal as well? The story of his mother sounded so much like Lisa...
"That would make you Alucard's half-brother, right?" she inquired, once again walking up to him, "Don't worry, he keeps wondering who he is as well..."
She then stopped, "Waitaminute," she said, walking back, "Dracula kidnapped me a little while ago and kept me in a room behind his throne room. If we went back to the room, we could probably get past the locked door.... which is impossible to break down unless you have some kind of magick spell that can burn bloodwood," Sonia scoffed, blowing a piece of hair out of her face.
"...... I know nothing of this 'Bloodwood'.... And this Alucard...? He is a dunpeal as well......" he looked down, again, those raven locks fell into his face.... "This is becoming all so.. so... strange..... "He looked back to her, with a slight nod, as if to signal, he would try his best to break the door down.
He thought for a moment, he then brushed a strand of hair from his eye.... ".... How far up is this throne room?" He said as he looked up, the tower seemed to stretch up forever....

Sonia let out a heavy sigh, running a hand through her golden bangs, "Well, the room I escaped from is a little bit back... you'll have to climb the rafters down, and on the other side of the door are two Hell Knights..." she looked down in disgust at the short sword tied to her side, "I hope this will do some good... well, come, I'll lead the way."
With that, Sonia turned around and started walking across the clock tower to the room she came out of, and leapt onto the first rafter, clutching one above her, and beckoning to Alex, "Come on."

From the shadows of a high up ledge, a figure with red eyes watched them go. Jack smiled to himself as he watched them.
"So Death has failed." he whispered to himself,"Soon I will have my chance."
As he watched the two belmonts climb, he lept off to await orders from Dracula.

Journey to Above
~*~Sorry for it taking so long for me to say something..... ~*~
Alex paused... Truly not knowing if he could trust her, Sonia.... He shook his head, he didn't have any other choice.... He followed her.... Alex jumped into the air, landing on the first rafter crouching.... "Do you need another weapon..?" He had asked.... He carried not only his beloved sword, but a whip, and as well, another sword.... Crude in fashion, but it would surely do better than a short sword...

Sonia's eyes widened when he showed her the items, "My whip and sword! Where did you find them?!" she asked frantically, dropping from the rafters and taking them, bowing her head in thanks.
She tied her whip to her side and her sword to the back of her waist. Sonia then looked up at Alex, "Guess I really can trust you..."

A small smile came to the boy's face as he jumped up into the rafter, glancing to her once... He spoke," You may trust me... You may hate me... 'tis not my place to choose which you do... One may only hope thine own judgements will be held justifiable..." With that, he brushed away a strand of hair...
And then lept to the next rafter above him... He looked back to he once again," I found the items in the rooms that were made of marble.... " He waited for her, hoping she knew this castle better than he...

Sonia blinked, "Marble? That must be the Marble Gallery... that's too close to the entrance of Castlevania for Dracula to hide it so carelessly... I guess he really didn't intend for me to escape. But now... now he has Alucard..."
Her mind lingered in thoughts of her lover before she continued descending the rafters. She'd find Alucard and get him away from Dracula.
'Twas strange, however... this quest was not like her original quest in Castlevania. Not just because of Aalart, or Alex, but because it seemed as if the good side was losing... Alucard was lost, Sonia was successfully kidnapped, not to mention almost killed... A lone tear slid down Sonia's face as she continued her way, leading Alex.
'Don't worry, love...' she thought. 'I will find you, and put Dracula to justice... just please don't get hurt...'
